now that you mention it, i remember watching this special bonus thing on the like, second inuyasha movie, before it came out in the states, a friend of our had the japanese movie, and we watched the special bonuses, and it talked about a bunch of things, including the music composer for the movie, and what was so amazing was that the composer was just sitting there, righting down music notes that were just cming to him for the movie
it was pretty amazing

My favorite anime OST composer is Toshiro Masuda,the composer of Naruto'Ost ^^

my favourite is always Joe Hisaishi
not only he demostrated his amazing talents in Miyazaki's anime movies, but his composes in some other movies impressed me as well.

Kajiura Yuki is my favourite :D Although I don't like every one and each of her songs, but most of them are amazingly stunning. Her style is so.. unique that one could tell if it's hers XD
also I like Nobuo Uematsu.
and Kenji Kawaii. He's the composer behind Ghost in the Shell and Sky Crawler OSTs.
Senju Akira too. His works are both stunning and relaxing. I remember that I played Home~en route to Resembool~ (CMIIW please) several times in a row when I feel down.

and have you ever heard the work (or performance?) of Makoto Shinkai? they're great too.

There's also one Ooshima Michiru. Her works are So.ra.no.wo.to OSTs and Le Chevalier D'Eon OSTs.

i dont really know.. but i like katekyo hitman reborn composer

My favourite composers are Kajiura Yuki, Kannou Yoko, Uematsu Nobuo, and Sahashi Toshihiko.
But Kajiura Yuki is the best!

Ops, I forgot: I love Taku Iwasaki's and Kaoru Wada's works, too, as well as part of Naruto's OST (especially second season's).
