Hi, I've been customising a pc which I will get built and delivered to me. My budget is 1700 and I intend to work off a 550 gb SSD Drive, 420 GHz processor Intel 7. 16 GB ram and 24 inch dell 4 k monitor. I'm paying 1700 for all this. My question is, is this overkill? I'm mainly an amateur editor but I do some pro work occasionally for a company I've been working with for about 4 years now. I want to start to do more large project work and I have decided to invest in this idea. A mate of mine thinks my specs are overkill. What do you folks think?
