I was looking at the Ads for the new MMORPG "Guildwars" and was
wondering what some of the other MMORPG that the People of Minitokyo might Play.
Be it new like Matrix online or old like everquest 1
my favorite mmorpg would have to be Final Fantasy XI. When I'm playing my
Summoner and we're in this massive battle against some boss and i whip out Ifrit
and cast an Inferno, its just awesome. heard sometime in the future Bahamut
will be able to be aquired for summoning purposes. i can't wait till that day
^^
I'm a Ragnarok Online fan....might start Linage 2 or WoW with
firends...
if you like plainly talking to alot of ppl about random stuff while lvling...I
recommend RO...if you're a strict gamer who just lvls...I suggest L2...if you're
a true blizzard fan...get WoW

A lot of people at my college really downplay FF XI has being lacking. In any
case though, i recently played the WoW open beta. I was utterly impressed and
bought the collector's edition. Not only is WoW fun to play and unpunishing
(*cough EXP loss* *glares at FF XI* ) but everything you do is so freaking
cinematic. From the opening movie, to just walking into Stormwind. When you get
a bunch of players together into a party. Heh. It's awesome. In addition to that,
it has very excellent music, friendly players, and is supposedly faster paced
than other MMORPGs.
i played ffxi, everquest 1, wow and daoc. DAOC was by far the one i enjoyed i
was on a roleplay server, it was amazingly good, but they made expantions that
ruined it, so i cant really recomend it now, i cannot reccomend everquest 1 or
wow ether though. so happy hunting :P
I'm really interested in RO and WoW (Although I could not support it). I have
played FFIX but I felt the leveling and partying system was flawed. I was
pretty disappointed with it but I did enjoy parting with others and kickiing
some Orc ass. I just feel they should revise those two things and it would be
a lot better.
I was an Everquest kid before Sony got it's dirty hands on it and ruined the
game.
I've played Star Wars Galaxies, but unfortunately Sony also got its hands on
that and totally botched that one (for me, anyways). FFXI didn't seem all that
fun to me when I tried it. I used to play RO and still occasionally do,
but...
Just looking at my title, and you should see whom I've sold my soul to.
WoW is the way to go! (though I truly wish, even though there is a
snowballs-chance-in-hell of it happening, that either Nobunaga's Ambition
Online(better chance) or the new Tales of Eternia Online(almost no chance) come
out in English).
