we have enough nose-bleeding materials in here to please all the members...
a good wall shows the effort put in it by the author...
doesn't have to be of a certain style, as you can see there are lots of different art styles for wallpapers....
just give it your best and put decent time to work on it...
there are plenty of tutorials, search around...
oh, and yes, the level will go down if u delete your walls...

ty people for the posts on this thread....really helped me out alot....i didnt read through all of it of course....thats just too much to read through...im a slow reader hehe....but yeah i noticed that some people have the words "Banned Member" under their name...im assuming that means they were banned for something bad they did....im just wondering....if a person is banned, can he or she still come back....and also what gets people banned?

Oh..I see so that's how you get your level up. But how do you guys know that we've submitted or post something? Does the computer script increase our level automatically(once it reaches a certain point), or it's done by hand? thankx alot ^^

It's like a script I think, It gives you an amount of exp for each post depending on your lvl.

Well its going to take me a nice long time to get to lvl 10.. I guess ill get to work on some wallpapers.. Ill have to use some of the scans I have on my hd till I can get some of the nice ones on this site

so how many post on the forums to level up?
Pls tell me so that I could get more wallpapers.....

Ok, I recently reach lvl.10. Everything was fine till today. My level have gone down 1 level and I'm now back to lvl.9

I heard that your level can go down if you delete your submissions/posts but I haven't done any of that.

Is there anything else that can lower it, because I just can't figure out why it did this

mmm... levels can't go down by itself, y'know? o.O
there must be something happened, like posts or walls being deleted... or something else... but 1 level decrease is not like you're losing your entire life,... you can get it back in no time...

True that but still. It took me a while to reach lvl.10 and suddently it goes back to lvl.9
But like you said, it shouldn't take long to get it back. Hopefully next time I reach lvl.10, it'll stay like that.

What is the percentage next to the level? I've seen odd behavior where immediately after reaching a new level, where the percentage is low again, it doesn't display the right level... after increasing a little more, it showed correctly again.

just refresh your browser when you notice that happening.. the page should show the correct level by then...
don't worry.... the levels database isn't that sucky... it's only some cookie problems with some browsers

Thanks KorganoS! No biggie for me, I know the numbers are right "under the hood" anyway, although I was a little concerned at first

Go to lvl 10, download scans, back to 9, error...wallpaper, illigeal to crop scans... god this is harder than eating a hamburger! (lol)
