Any of you guys seen trailers for this movie? I think it looks awesome. There
is also a game being made which looks cool but I dont think it will be anything
worth getting. Cant wait for the movie to be out though. But, now everytime I
see Keanu Reeves I always see him as Neo.

John Constantine was created by the great Alan Moore (creator of the original
From Hell, and Watchmen and V for Vendetta, which I think will be coming out as
movies soon). He was a trenchcoat -wearing, chain-snoking paranormal adventurer
type with a shock of blond hair (his look was originally based on the rock star
Sting).
Hellblazer, John's solo series, originally revolved around scary supernatural
stories with a socially conscious feel, tackling issues like drugs, child abuse,
and the Vietnam war. The episode about yuppies selling their souls to demon
stockbrokers was particularly popular. John was a very dark and haunted
character, constantly pursued by the ghosts of friends who'd died as a result of
his misadventures.
I'm not holding out much hope for the movie. John just doesn't seem very...
Keanu to me.
The movie does look good, but since it's Keanu's first movie since the Matrix,
it's destined to suck. But I'm sure I'll shell out the eight bucks to see it
anyway...

They can't get enough of making movies based on comics. But I have. Spiderman was the only good one of the newer ones....
