i got all six, but not for the reasons you might suspect.
Anyone who has taken a psych class immediately goes into "look out for
really wierd things anytime somebody asks you to observe something seemings
normal" Mode. So i went into it knowing i was looking for something out of
the ordinary.
Might also do with trust issues in general. I tend to be suspect of anything
somebody presents to me. it would be interesting if this could be used as some
kind of a trust test... but that ought to be for somebody else's psych class
experiment ^_^
Lastly, i just got done writing a 13 page paper on close reading and rhetorical
analysis haha, so i'm in kind of a close reading mindset
anyways, cool test. i'll admit i had to read through it three times looking for
something before i caught the 'of's ^_^
lol - at first, I overlooked the word and then I went back, sensing I was
missing something, and apparently, there it was, all on a blueprint scale pretty
much. Not a bad test - couldn've fooled me if I only read it one time, but
looking back, I was able to get all 6. Neat trick.
I got this from my friend :
Alzheimer's Test -
Count the "F's" in the following text:
FINISHED FILES ARE THE RE-
SULT OF YEARS OF SCIENTIF-
IC STUDY COMBINED WITH THE
EXPERIENCE OF YEARS...(see below)
Managed it ?
SCROLL DOWN ONLY AFTER YOU HAVE COUNTED THEM, okay?
Do you think there are three?
How many ? 3?
Wrong, there are 6 !!--no joke.
Read it again.
The reasoning behind it is further down.
The brain cannot process "OF".
Incredible or what ? Go back and look again!!
Anyone who counts all 6 "F's" on the first go is a genius.
Three is normal, four is quite rare.
Ha ha. Very funny. You caught me.
I'll
remember that.
