no we dont and I tried to get permission to start one but I was denied, my
school doesnt like kids having anything like video games or manga or d&d
cards or colors or thoughts or emotions...
we have about 10 people that might attend, and I'd probably get to do most of
the planning with my friend so it wouldn't just be stuff like Inuyasha and
Cowboy Bebop (though those aren't bad, you can see them on TV whenever you want)
The Anime club here is one of the largest clubs on-campus at my college.
Although, I no longer go to it because it is essentially just a bunch of social
misfits who don't shower as often as they should. I can't say that
participating in a club offers any benefits over watching Anime in the comfort
of my own apartment with a couple of my friends.
ehhh....don't got any club here..but I wish it was one, especially like
Genshiken(anime-serie)
It's just great, people who haven't seen this anime ...Watch it
Then you get the picture how I would like to have in a anime "club"
in the uni I got of (Uni south australia) there's a big anime club that uses one
of the lecture halls in the uni as the place to show anime...it has quite a big
turn out I guess with 50 or so people at least per session...I don't join it
though cos generally what they're airing are either stuff I've already got...or
stuff I'm not interested in...though I guess it would be a good place to meet
friends but some of them are....just too hardcore
no anime club in my school... I think theres probably only anime club in 1 of 2
university in my country =p
I can say like more than half the nation do not know what anime is.. I only know
of 4 stores that sell a wider range of anime!! the rest just contain
manga(mainly from the chinese countries)
I don't think its also essential to have anime club here too.. cause my country
think of school clubs to be very important.. its really compulsory for everyone
in every school to have at least 1..
There's an anime/manga club at our school too! It has about 50 members (our
school has ~1300 students)... but most of them are total otakus and watch every
anime they can get their fingers on...evan the worst stuff... well...quantity
isn't quality after all...
We have a pretty big anime club on campus.....but never liked big clubs so no
i'm not a part of it....
BUT in highschool we had one, I helped found it.....it was pretty useless
but.....got some people interested and showed them that anime isn't just
sailormoon and digimon and Dragonball or something like that. We tried to
expand it and such.....but didn't amount to too much. It was pretty good
considering the lack of interest in asian culture and the overall lack of asians
in our school :P
We don't have one *sighs* So I decided to start one last year by applying with
the co-curriculum headmaster Let's say it
just didn't work out too well *hehheh*
if so, how big/popular is it in your school?
therea a range from 10-15 people that come every session
Sorry for my poor english...
yeah... There is a very big one.... but I do not want join to them... They are very very freaks... the are scary... uuuhh...
I wish...if I had to count, there's probably max 4 or 5 people that like anime/manga at my school, out of 1400.
we dont have one. but i wish we did.
probably about the same number of people you put.
yes..but i do not go to it because it is basically a waste of time....(sorry..it's true)

same goes to my school but maybe noone will be in it except for me and some other kid
Yes.
Not too big. Not too popular. Very useless. I have more anime than the club.
2/10
Yes we do. And it is so big that we actually sponsor our own small convention on campus. Momocon on the campus of Georgia Tech.
