I use iTunes for my music and have recently bought a few songs from there [had to test drive my new VISA XD]. Wondered who else uses it here, either for their music, radio, buying songs or all of the above ^__^ .

erm
i have it
just use it for share ,burm and rip tho ^^;;

nice feature they got there =3

I use it to listen my mp3s and burn... :nya:

^^ i got it too. but that's just b'coz i use a mac laptop. OX

I use it for my music catelogue on my PC and after this weekend for my NEW 20 gig IPod I just bought!

I use it for playin audio and ripping. Basically because I have an ipod. If it weren't for that I'd probably be using something else.

Yay! XD

yup i use iTunes on my ibm-compatible pc.
i got 35 gigs or so of music and love the layout, playlists, and burning properties.

all in all my favorite player. i have used musicmatch and winamp in the past..

I use my Itunes to store all my music from my CDs - I have been trying to find the way to download the 'free' ITunes track that is meant to be up there - there is meant to be a new free one up there all week. And when I actually find it and one I want, I will try downloading it for the first time ever!

But otherwise, I do tend to play more music on it than Windows Media player - even though I need Windows Media Player to play videos - because unfortunately ITunes doesn't do everything!

i use it to put songs from a cd to my hd. its the most simple way ive found to do it. i also buy some songs from it. but thats not very often. overall yes i do use it and it is a good program.

I'm using iTunes with my iPod and the only thing I will say is... it rocks! This software is the best music software I've ever see :) Therefore you can edit, personnalize your musics, make compilations, classify some of them etc!!

Simply the best ;) Oups I said more than one thing huhuh ^^

Oh, I will just add: with apple stuff, music extraction is really better that on M$ Windows systems :)

ya, i use itunes too. i have a mini ipod so i have bought a few songs using itunes... but i just usually get the free songs and the rest i get from friends. yup ^^ its a pretty good music software but i dont like the format the songs come in because u can't remix them or nething with other songs.

Some good points ^^ .

well theres no way i would use it for these reasons:
* doesnt run on linux
* doesnt support Ogg Vorbis (the best music format ever ^^)
* doesnt have skins

but it does look like a pretty nice app, alot better tha wmp :-)

I have iTunes, i use it to play all my songs and listening to the j-pop radio. I didn't know i could burn cd on it. I shall go and investagate.

my sister does..but i dont because i do not really listen to music much...

I prefer MediaMonkey since it's much better suited to managing and playing large collections.

Same except I ONLY own iTunes to export my iPod. XD

Ah, I'm still using Winamp (just because of the skins XD), but if I ever get a Mac or iPod, I'll probably switch. :) It's a very slick-looking program (but.. *mourns for the skins* ^_^').

well it is ibm compatible. ;)

Well if u have macs like I do, then iTunes is really the only wa to go, and from what I hear is the best FREE or PAY option on the pc also. Long live apple.

May I ask what Macs it is you have?
On topic; I agree that iTunes is one of the best music playing programs around and if it could be skinned, it would be the ultimate ^__^ .

I use iTunes a lot now. I just import the CDs I have. However, there are some file types it doesn't cover so for them (Midi, ogg, mod,etc) I'll use WinAmp on my Dell, or VLC on Mac. Still like a lot of the classic winamp features, (load entire song into RAM before playing) and less services running in the background (only 1 winamp agent vs 3 iTunes things). Probably will get an iPod sometime after I get a raise at work.

You can stop the other 2 iTunes services running in the startup options. I did it and it seemed to make iTunes itself a little quicker :) .
