I have read on a site that Team Ninja want to make Dead or Alive Xtreme Beach
Volleyball 2 for the Xbox 2 and I hope they make more volleyball elements in the
gameplay like a tournament + the male characters from DOA for the female
players. Oh yes they must make better shops in the game where you can buy other
things like inflatables becasue that is for me a big problem in the first game
because I want to see Kasumi and Ayane on a airmat *sniff* Oh yes here is the

We're currently working on a feature story that
we're going to be posting early next year (it's super secret), but we received
an interesting tidbit that couldn't wait. In one of the answers we received
from Team Ninja's head honcho Tomonobu Itagaki, he admitted there was a sequel
to Dead Or Alive Xtreme Beach Volleyball in the works.
When asked if he would like to have the ability to have custom soundtracks in
the next generation of consoles, Itagaki-san responded, "I'm considering it
for the sequel to Dead or Alive Xtreme Beach Volleyball, but then I'll need a
hard disc."
While Itagaki-san didn't come out directly and say it, it's looking like the
sequel will be heading to Xbox 2/Xenon. When we asked Tecmo about it today,
they basically stated, "I don't think it'll be happening for a
while."
We'll have more on this story when it breaks.

hehe, nice, now me and my friend can play that one for 8+ hours straight, lol.
but that is awesome news, seeing as i loved the first one and actually having a
tournament like the story line in the first one said there was supposed to be on
the island

liked the first doaxvb alot though it did have its weak spots (there were
many). i just dont understand why they asked about the custom soundtracks as
thats not much of an important aspect when compared the actual game info.
itagaki always keeps his work a secret but i guess its a good thing. i own every
team ninja game for xbox and they are all really good so i cant wait till xbox2
comes out and you sure as hell know that ill be getting every team ninja game
that comes out , well they only make like one game a year right

no, they dont have a PC version as itagaki wants his games on the best console
format available, which right now is xbox. and he assumes xbox2 will be better
than ps3 so hes sticking with microsoft (traitor, lol)
I love doa xbv because it's so simple . To play at
the beach with your on soundtrack is sooo good :d

was quite successful so it wouldn't be that erroneous...
Hope they'll have good new features. I would be good if you could player it with
more friends and maybe some more mini-games than just the casino...

Klar wenn er raus kommt werd ich ihn mir ma ausleihen und wenn er gut ist auch
ma kaufen aber im moment denke ich eher das es nicht mein Fall ist noch ein
beach volleball spiel zu haben. Ich denke es wird sich nicht sonderlich von dem
Vorgänger unterscheiden.

I hope it too because the second one needs new usable features and more
mini-games too because mini-games makes a game diversified and interesting. Well
I don't play games online but I think it's fun to play the game with more
friends.
I like the idea that Tecmo is making another sequel to Xtreme Beach Volleyball!
They just need to add more mini-games or add a new character lol but that's
just me.

A sequel would be awesome! Just... it needs to have alot more activities than
volleyball and the casino. Even something as simple as having to walk (by that i
mean control) your girl to their destination. Definently needs some more
mini-games.... like the life-guard one Itagaki spoke of.... XP *pulls mind
out of the gutter* OK! I'm back! Though I enjoyed oggling the girls, even I
lost interest after a while, you know?
I sure hope they release a sequel. The first one, even though it was a good
game, should have a lot more gameplay elements. It would be better if the game
wasn't just to stare at the girls (don't take that part out though, lol) but had
more things to do...and more bikinis, or something.

Yeah it was good softcore porn, Otaku in Japan would definately pick a Xbox 2 if
that came out for it, just like the last time. But does anyone here think DOA4
looks like an Xbox game, it doesn't look much better at all to me i want some

Never played the first game because I don't have an Xbox. However, it would be interesting to see how a second one might launch.
