Oh so you want me to post the animes that I think had a happy ending but is was
bad or something like that.............Well if I were to post the endings of the
anime endings to tell you the truth I've seen many animes but never really seen
the endings or at lease remember them......yes very sad................

Personally i hate endings where the charactors are worse off then when they
started - otherwise, what was the point of all that effort? I have only seen
about a third of the anime you have listed, but i don't think it is right to
say good or happy. Take Elfen Lied (one
of my fav) for example, i really liked the ending to ep 13* - it would be a very
sad world if everyone could not find some measure of peace.

Do members of Hispanime just randomly go to threads and post in Spanish/Mexican?
Anyways, I do like good endings. They don't necessarily have to be all happy, as
long as they're satisfying (like FMA, Kannaduki no Miko, etc). I just don't like
it when they conclude a serie w/o a real conclusion. I rather take a sad ending
then no ending at all.

Actually I find it quite funny - lol, but I
somewhat know how they feel when people try speaking fluently in two different
kinds of languages, since I've been around with many similar people like that
before- it gets hard for them at times, so they post in the language they feel
more comfortable with. lol

Worse off as in 'Shingetsutan Tsukihime' worse off, or as in a character's
evolution as such throughout the series? I, personally, didn't enjoy Tsukihime's
ending, but I liked the series overall. In the case of Elfen Lied... Well, it's
not really over yet ^^;

Yeah, I think the same way. It's just funny how people kinda talk past eachother
when this happens
Well I will ignore what dutchforce was trying to say!
And I have to say that what Celessa-san said impress me! it's hard to me to
belive tht here at MT there are members that actually don't watch anime, just
Im' amaze (sory if I'm rude in any way but it's my POV and I'm just
impress!)
Well i think I get your point but I won't exactly going to mention any specific
anime ending, but lemme tell that the creativity in endings it's very wide and
variant, I liek in some ay the happy endings, but I enjoy the sad endings too, I
cannot say an ending it's bad or good until I saw the serie all over again!!
Unfortunately with the most o them I cannot do that!
Well took Evenagelion as example I saw the whole serie twice and I think i know
why they made two endings (if you rembmer there are two), they tried to made the
happy and the real ending, just to giving to it a lil diferent direction to the
script! and both endings are nice!
If you feel it good, bad, happy or anything else it's more like your Poont Of
View and at the end that's what counts! you can have a common opinion about an
ending but that's just that everyvody feel like that, 'cause if the authors try
to force a good ending or a happy one not always they get a good
result!
But I personally enjoy a lot the happy and sad ending which ever I see!

I prefer good over happy endings. Alot of excellent anime have been ruined by
happy endings where the world gets reset and everyone is alive and happy. They
should not have been afraid to kill off some characters.

Now dutchforce made it clear! yeah, it's a spanish post incrusted in the
english...:D
funny...:D
but well...
I've seen HALF OF THE HALF OF THE HALF endings you told. I've seen:
Sailor Moon (but don't remember, was very young)
Dragon Ball, Dragon Ball Z, they're both happy endings
Saint Seiya (series): happy
I've seen InuYasha over 2 years, and i made it through episode 158!And the
series ends at the 167!!!AH!!!
yeah kuclo, what an otaku...
Gundam Wing it's a good ending, since gundams were destroyed, but happy??don't
you want to see our heroes destroying evil forces again??(we jsut have to be
sure at wich side they fight for )Is evil
really disbanded?It goes on...
well, sorry 4 my bad english in this post... excuse: it's 1:15 AM:D...
lemme see...another end...nope, don't remember
see ya!
Interesting topic... and potentially full of spoilers!
Personally, I don't mind whether a series has a happy or a sad ending, as long
as it's good and it goes along with the flow of the series. I really hate the
typical soap opera where the main character has to go through all sort of crap
through the entire series, and magically, gets a happy ending. Unless we're
talking about a wizardry story, magic happy endings just don't cut it for me.
And sappy sappy stories where at the end just everything blows up and everybody
dies (yep, there is a book like that) aren't my thing either.
Some endings I really liked:
Escaflowne
Lain
Fruits Basket (they did a great job even though the manga had not finished
yet)
Ayashi no Ceres
Elfen Lied
X/TV
Samurai Champloo
Scrapped Princess
Angelic Layer
Chobits
Magic Knight Rayearth
Card Captor Sakura
Hikaru no Go (in my opinion, it ended at a much better place in the anime than
in the manga)
Some endings I hated (mainly because they didn't provide quite the closure
required)
Evangelion (although the movie did provide a closure!)
Inuyasha
Karekano
Konomini
As you can see, I usually like clamp endings, and hate gainax
endings.

Sorry, that was not clear. Say for example a series ends with everyone dieing -
that is "worse off", but if amid the distruction there is a glimmer of

I think that the endings must be good, no matter if they are happy or sad, like
for example the ending of Cowboy Bebop, sad but good ending or Kimi Ga, sad
story, happy and good ending; and I hate the bad endings when they don't explain
very well the ending, like Kare Kano, and you figure out what happens next.
