I was jut wondering what is your take on guns or bladed weponry or what do you like about them/ what do you prefer
personally i like blades because thay are true demonstrations of a persons abilitys

well, if it is a close combat battle, then i would take the blade. But if it is a battle where everything is allowed then i would take a gun.

Well I have a katana, its steel is made by Toledo's blacksmiths in Spain which is one of the most resistant and powerful type of steel . So to answer your question, I would obviously pick the blade

Swords all the way!
The elegance involved in sword play is unmatched by any other weapon.
No other personal weapon can be as precise, deadly, or plain fun to weild.
(So I'm a bit biased...only natural for a fencer to be that way...)

The Colt Single Action Army revolver, greatest handgun ever made. Six bullets, enough to kill any living thing. Plus you look damn cool spinning a revolver on your finger.

I'm surprised no one has said gunblade yet, since they are a super cool hybrid or the two weapons...

It terms of coolness most swords (e.g. the upgraded Sparda in DMC, and extremely well made, unique swords) beat guns hands down unless it's the Single Action Army, or a sniper rifle (the only two cool guns).

Depends wether you're a Rambo or a Renaissance person.

Blabed weaponary It takes skill with a gun I think that is to easy to fight with
but a sword now that takes skill

Generally, I prefer bladed weapons, but I also like some guns, like the one of Vash, for example.

Of corse guns! There so kick ass! Oh and it takes skill too! To handle a gun that is. Just depends on which gun your talking about.

I have to say I like blades to especially a samurai sword.
If I was an anime character I would carry a samurai sword on my back and to guns on the side of my legs.

Ever watch those movies with people unloading clips of ammo to this one special character, who somehow seems to dodge all the bullets in a sense - the sparks and the etc. etc.? lol - Either they got bad aiming, or its just pretty darn bad. Anyways, I prefer blades here.

Oh yeah! But that's just Hollywood. Gun fights I tend to not care for but it's the guns that I'm in for! None of those AK's for me. I'm all classic! Like the BAR or the Tommy. I mean the BAR can shot through 6 inches of concret! That's awesome!!! I mean blades are cool to but can they shot through concret!?!

Wow, I dunno. Swords, katanas and other bladed weaponry are better in displaying fighting abilities. However, with guns, I just feel like going 'in your face!' mode - kick ass, man!

Guns might be easier to use and sometimes, guns are good to use, but I would prefer the sword or any other blade. All you can really do with a gun is shoot. I find that boring; just shooting. I rather be in a longer, but more interesting battle with a sword.

I totally prefer blades. Every kind of weapon besides guns are cool. For examle I liked Mila Jovovich in her last fight against Nemesis with this sticks (don't know the english expression for them).
I think such weapons make a really good fight. How can I compare it to a gun fight? There it's just Bang and Boom and dead. No beauty, just violence.

Good question... bladed fights look really cool and actiony, but gun fights are just too sudden... Plus, you can see more of a person's skill in handling a bladed weapon. I mean how much skill does it take to pull a trigger and aim? Yeah, blade fights are awesome.

Blades are definitely cooler, but in reality a gunman can take down a swordsman effortlessly.

Blades, of course. I just love that particular sound when two blades come together... Swords or sabers, doesn't really matter. And it's such a more "personal" way of fighting. Any fool can pull a trigger, but you have to have a good swordsmanship to engage in a blades battle.

Plus, being the artistic type, I find blades are way more esthetic.
