To me, Inu Yasha is one of the best anime series ever! I'm almost completely
obbsessed with it; I've got the first and second seasons on dvd and more that I
taped from the tv!
I agree with you, its my favorite anime too. I have the first 13 vol. on dvd. I
like it because the story is entising, has great characters, lots of humor and a
great music score.
I fail to see why this show is so popular, to me it just doesn't stand out from
any other series... What really makes me scratch my head is the sheer numbers of
fans of the show because it's apparently very popular - it's like the new dragon
ball z. I try to watch the show but I just can't sit through one entire episode
without getting bored out of my mind, no offense to you fans of course.
I like Inu Yasha simply because it's fluff. I think it's kinda like watching
Beverly Hills 9021HO. You just want to see Inu Yasha screw things up with him
and Kagome again and again. But I agree with Loke. To many episodes, it gets
old. And Zenislev is right as well that it doesn't stand out compared to other
series, like Last Exile, Naruto and Cowboy Bebop.
I like inuyasha, it's good in my opinion because I don't mind the
repetitveness...

...I wonder how much money that cost! You really are a true fan...isn't there
like 2 episodes per dvd? Ha...I'm just as bad...^^;
A great series. I'm still watching it even today, just have to find more new sub
episodes to watch. A great anime show even though it's getting old and there's
new anime coming out.
I like the concept of the whole thing it's just that the character's development
plateau in the middle of the series. Then it gets predictable. It's still
entertaining though. They should condense it into a short OVA.
I like Inuyasha (the actual anime, not the character), and love Sesshoumaru, but
I think it's a little dragged out. It spans well over 200 episodes, and they
all have the same basic plot- get the jewel shard from Naraku. And no matter
how many times Naraku is "killed" he always comes back. And when the
Inu-tachi isn't looking for jewels, there are really dumb 'filler' episodes that
have no significance to the plot. Tedious I tell you, tedious.
Before long, Inuyasha is going to be like another DBZ- long, redundant,
predictable, and boring.

I don't Know where you get your info but there on only about 157 in Japan, and
it might end in september. So where does well over 200 come from? Also If you
really liked the show no episode would be boring. I actually like the filler
episodes better.
Inuyasha is great! It could go to eps. 300 and I'd still watch it, though I'd
hope by that time Naraku is long dead; him still being alive after so many eps.
is the only thing pissing me off. There could easily be other powerful demons
wreaking havoc upon feudal Japan; I don't see a reason for him to be alive in
order to keep the series going.
I found this from a Inuyasha site that gets stuff as it comes out of
japan.

New Screencaps and New Polls!
Here are the new screencaps for episode 154 and 155:
Episode 154 - The Demon that Links to the Other World
Episode 155 - The Devil that Guards the Shikon Shard
As I was browsing through the screencaps, I begin to wonder exactly how long the
Inuyasha series is going to be.^_^ 157 episode titles^_^ have been released so
far, how many more episodes do you expect the Inuyasha epic to be? Share your
views in our new polls:
How many episodes do you think Inuyasha will end up be?
What will happen to Inuyasha and Kagome when the anime ends
Inuyasha was the first anime show I ever watched, the one that brought me into
the world of anime. For that reason, if no other, I will always be an Inuyasha
fan. I'll admit that they have WAY too many fillers, and the
"romantic" plot is hardly going anywhere, but the episodes that do
have good fights are well worth watching. The movies are also pretty neat if
you like the series at all. Some people will be turned off by the extreme amout
of mindless filler and some people won't really care. I think the
storyline/concept is really cool and could have definitely been implemented into
a "better" series, but I'm content with what Takahashi-sama has turned
Inuyasha into...for now anyway. They'd better not screw up the ending or I'll
be REALLY pissed. (I think it'll end somewhere before episode 200, somewhat
like the number of episodes in Ranma 1/2)
hm..... i am not really that far yet in inuyahsa but this anime is still very
cool and i like it whenever inuyasha turn into a human.... he and kagome look so
cute....

well i think the anime version of inuyasha will end when the manga ends... so is
the manga still running? if it is then perhaps its still a loooong way to go
as for inuyasha and kagome hmmm i would say Rumiko has a habit of leaving the
ending to our imagination... so maybe at the end Inuyasha still could not
decide between Kikyo and Kagome.... well thats just my opinion

Ive seen all the eps and movies out so far but I have to say that i loved it at first but now it seems they are just stretching it a bit much.
I watch it now and then, but it's not one of my favorites. My friend on the other hand is one of the biggest Inuyasha nuts I've ever met.
Former i was a big Inuyasha fan but today its boring cause every episode are same.
i only watched from 1 to 106..

Hmph. My sincerest apologies, apparently I was wrong in the number of episodes. Forgive me. (note sarcasm)
And I like anime enough that I can actually recognize it's weak-points, thank you very much.
... theres much more then 157 in japan, new season....
Point proven. Thank you, Mew.
I just contacted my source in Japan, and they just aired 156 last monday and there just about rapping up a season not starting a new one.
Does Anybody else Offically know what episode japan is on?
so the anime inuyasha gonna end on eps 157? ooo i feel sad...
btw how about the inuyasha manga? is Rumiko Takahashi still making them?
