I am off to Tokyo for the first time this June with Aa-chan. As we have never
been I was wondering if people could give us suggestions on where to go and what
to see. Maybe where to pick up merchandise or where good clothes are sold or
where is a tasty place to eat.
Any suggestions would be appreciated ^^
i have never been here so I wouldn't know. you can find a travel guide on Tokyo
or Japan and it will tell you some good places to eat, shop, etc. I'm not sure
if this place is in Tokyo or not, but this place called Ginza sells expensive
stuff.
Wish i was going! Hopefully i will get a chance this summer... perhaps...

shopping is going to make up the backbone of our trip I think ^^ .
whee, i'm going to and i'm also gonna have to figure out the details . but
i heard that sony HQ (for lack of a better word) has a museum type thing where
they have all the cool tech that we in america aren't gonna see for another ten
years, and that you can try it out when you go there. definately gonna shoot
for that one ^_^

do...
1. Visit the Imperial Palace
2. Try to visit Yokohama to see the Earth Simulator computer.
3. Get a bowl of REAL ramen.
4. Buy some manga
5. See Mt. Fuji
6. Two Words: Vending Machines!
7. Try to get into Gainax Studios
(walks out of Gainax with Rei and Asuka life size dolls)

Hm, some temples (I don't know the name of them though), Tokyo Tower, night temples, etc...
Just check online for a tour guide or something. There's just a lot of things to look in Japan.
I gots us a travel guide and a big map [well, my dad did] so at least we have something. He also printed off some stuff from the tourist board.
Obviously, any extra stuff would be helpful to know

I'll probably go to Akihabara First, then the Tokyo tower....then explore the city.

lol! for me it would be San...
GO visit shrines and look for japanese art such as the paintings or the sakuras or landscapres. And theres always shopping for anime! ^_^
