First off, sorry if this is a repeat. I was just watching Full Metal Alchemist
and Maes Hughes was shot and killed. I actually started crying. It was so sad.
I felt bad for his wife and daughter as if they were real people. Seeing his
daughter and wife at his funeral was just so sad. Has anyone else ever cried
from a anime/manga or almost started crying after watching/reading an
episode/manga issue?

I just saw that part as well. Envy shot him and he was an imitation of Hughes'
wife. It was sad that things had to turn that way. Very eventful. If Ed and Al
find out about the death of Hughes, then things will really get serious.
I was emotionally distraught after watching an anime series. ...Resulting from
an entirely different context. ..Basically the guy in the series picked the
totally wrong girl, and scorned the one that appeared to be God-crafted for him.
...Specially made for his unique self, and he went with the easy, "wide
path to destruction". ...I so, so hope I find the right one. ...And it
still haunts me with every girl I happen to run into....
hahaha definitely ^^; sometimes even when its not really a sad moment.. like the
last episode of full moon wo sagashite
and yea.. i remember that scene from FMA~ god that was such a good series.
Um.....yeah. It's FMA becuase I remember this one episode where this guy
transformed his girl and the dog together. Ane when Edward Elric saw this, he
became really pissed. Then later, Scar came and killed the transmutation
creature. I cried when he killed an innocnet girl in a dog form.
Yes Hughes death was quite sad I never expected him to die out of any of the
charaters in FMA. He was always so funny going from serious to showing a picture
of his daughter to everyone at the drop of a hat. Yet the one show I can never
watch without crying at the end is Kimi Ga Nozomu Eien it's by far the saddest
love story ever.
way too many times to meantion I even had a count in Naruto on how many times I
cried during it so far...i lost count at 7 if anything
is remotley sad I will cry at it *hangs head*

Let me just say, if you can watch that whole series and not cry even once you'd
have to be a soulless monster.

anime that has ever made me cry is Grave of the Fireflies. It isn't a series but
a movie. If you haven't seen it yet, beware, the messages and the scenes are
emotionally strong and you won't be able to forget them.
The only time I come close to crying was at the end of chruno crusade, when
chruno and maria die peacefully at each other's arm, they sacrifice their lives
to save the world. It was unexpected twist, because the two main character
dying is rare in anime, well at least in the limited number of anime I have
watched.
OMG! warn people before spoil animes like that, Luckily I have already seen
FMA!

got tears in my eyes as i watching that and for some reason my dad walks in and
sees me ... his face went from O_O to O_o to ... i
refuse to watch FMA now .... o and in samurai x (errr reflection i think not
sure), when kenshin dies and the girl die because of bronchidus (sp?) i cried
then too ... bah .... also at the end of gungrave and cowboy beebop ... those
were some good endings

I've cried in (manga) Fruits Basket and Full Moon wo Sagashite and the only anime I've ever cried in is AIR. Then ending was so sad... *sniff sniff*

i think that most of the anime that i watch is sad...so i have cried a lot, i guess
some manga are sad too...

The episode 1 of Naruto. When Iruka is blocking the Fumo Syuriken for Naruto, my tears is flooding like hell.
I cried at the ending of Air...usually I try to hold back my tears but with the ending touched me so much that I didn't even bother.
