page 1 of 1

Well, from a reply I got in "Codec Packs & Photoshop Don´t Mix" forum...I decided to make this new one because....I´m scared ;_;

Well, like the thread title says; why Photoshop CS and old computers don´t mix....a minitokyo member told me that the speed diference between PS 7 & CS was considerable and CS didn´t had much diference in features...well; now i´m more concerned about what CS might do to my O.S...

these are my computer specifications:
I run a poor computer who runs under Win 98 SE with 256 RAM ;_; but it runs perfectly (since I use other heavy software such as Lightwave 3D)...

well, is it worth it installing Photoshop CS in this poor computer?

i say......keep teh old stuff

I run windows ME......-______________________-

wit PS6.0........ and MouseIMP......

im unstooppaable XD!!!.....well not really but....

some oldies r still teh g00dies

CS won't install onto a computer that has an OS earlier than ME. (Or was it XP only?...)

huh....the adobe website said it could ;_;
damn adobe people...they´re so meeeaaaannnnn...buuuuuuuuuuuuu

Everyone talks about hotmail is the best but I think yahoo and hotmail are

Wtf?

Anyways, CS is pretty big...and is only reccommended for newer computers. So stick to the older versions of Photoshop, there's not that much of a difference, at least one that was noticable to me.

the only new features that CS has over 7.0 that im aware of is 16bit rendering and better support for digital cameras.
