The wallpapers on this site kicks major ass, but I don't want to open every
single image and right click and save as... Is there a way I can dowload all the
images on this site as one big file?
Well, I *do* know of a way to do it. It involves a certain
program...unfortunately, you`ll get everything this site has..forums, walls,
scans, whatever`s here. Not to mention it`d kill their server and eat
bandwidth...

well, if the site has an FTP then u could try asking an admin to maybe give u
limited access to it so that u could just download all of them that way. it
would still take awhile but it'd be faster than going one by one on the actual
site
I dont think thats a good idea dood... there are good ones and there are bad
ones... you should take the time and browse the galleries and pick and choose...
theres something pleasing knowing that your collection is something you yourself
hand picked instead of sifting through 10 min PS jobs with the occasional

Well you can also think of it this way. You download all the pix on this site ,
once you have them on your harddrive, you can then browse through them and
delete the ones you don't like. Thats the same has "hand picked" like
abcsr2ez4me said. I think thats more time efficient and gives you more time to
browse other stuff instead of devoting your entire time loading pic by pic. Of
course some people can see this as a privilege and can only be available for
people at a certain level, but thats up to the site admin to decide.
Actually it is fun to download one by one so that you can add comments to that
wallpaper/scan that you like/dislike. I know that it is convient to download all
images in 1 file but who wants to do that? Only you?
i guess the people who place their work on this site should be honored that
people want to download all of its work. someone already asked about this
too...how bout we can pay sheqel like 30 dollars to have him zip up every file
and put it on a cd and send it to its client xD
I was exaggerating about the new mouse thing. About downloading all pix as one
file, first off, I said it would be a good idea if people with HIGH levels ( I
don't know what's the highest level or what will be considered high) to have
this privilege to download all the pix as 1 file. I'm not saying this should be
available to people who just joined the site or has a low level, because that
would be unfair to all the people who spent so much time designing these great
pix. AnimeLover2004, you shouldn't conclude that I'm the ONLY person on this
site with this thought, thats jumping the gun. Second this wouldn't be
considered leeching because everyone will have to achieve a high level before
they can obtain all the pix, and it doesn't even have to be ALL the pix on the
site. It can be all the pix of a particular category.
And Sheqel forgive my bluntness, your arguement doesn't make any sense, because
people with a high level can basically download anything, so is that considered
"asking the shop owner for all his stuff and not paying?"
i think what shegel meant by that was a newbie could come in, take all the files
on the website, leave, and never come back. not very fair for the regulars who
would get slower speed due to downloads and consumption of bandwidth without
even contributing to the community one bit. you're not the first one who have
just join the community and complained aobut not being able to download. just be
patient and be thankful for the opportunity to get the service. besides, high
level and getting pictures are kinda related in that without commenting and
downloading pictures, you cannot attain higher levels.
as a higher level member, it also means we spend lots of time in the community,
and therefore does it not make sense that we get more previlages than people who
just walked in and is likely to never come back?
i agree with sammo and cloud, but the fact of the matter is... i can bet 50
bucks that this place was started with the intent to create an art community. it
just blossomed into what it is today. you can't possibly think that this entire
web site was started with intentions of doing nothing but sharing anime art. the
forums play a big role in the way this system works. without the forums what
would be be coming back to? pictures, that's all. yes they are nice, and yes
they should be appriciated and respect should be shown to the creators. but is
that really why you come back to this website day after day? to look at
pictures? i think not.

sammo is right =d most of the high level users have been here long enough that they really have no use for such a thing
