Depends, if I am writing a paragraph or essay, I prefere pen because I can write fast with it. But if I am writing stuff for math or something like that, I prefere to use a pencil for obivous reasons.

I love using my mechanical pencil!!! It looks great on my writing and I can always go quickly to my drawing stuff and I could erase mistakes easily......I also use plain pencils but the donside is I have to sharpen it....I use pen too at school but then I lost it...I'm been using a pencil ever since.

i prefer to use pen b/c i smoother to write with. but pencil is good sometime too, it all depends on what you are doing.
