hehe, it was a random idea, but personally, i cant choose between both of
them... the characters look alike (duh...) and both stories are fascinating...

actually the story is very different and even the gender to is kind of
different. For me Fushigi yugi is THE master piece. It is actually my anime
crush so it is my fav but ayashi no ceres is really good to. Yuu Watase is my
fav mangaka so i love all the stuff she does
Hard to say. Allover I like FY better, but it gets realy lame in the middle,
when Ayashi no Ceres is good all the time. Besides Miaka gets annoying after a
while.
I like AnC for the story, but FY for the characters. We all know who my fav char
is! However, I think Ceres is my second or third favorite female character in
any anime series though. Not that I'm a bitter woman or anything...
in terms of the anime, then i'd choose Fushigi Yuugi. in terms of manga, they're
tied. i really liked the storylines and the characters in both of them. yuu
watase draws the most beautiful men! <3

dont like it cos Hotohori n Nuriko die... Its on top of my "The most
heartbroken anime" it made me cry n broke my heart to pieces... For Ayashi
no Ceres i like it too cos its more to simple not much tragedy n betrayal... at
least it doesnt broke my heart again....
Both are great! But I guess I prefer Ayashi no Ceres. I find it more original
and "mature".
I think Ayashi no ceres has more drama, and I like the fact that it is not that
long. I loved Fushigi Yuugi, but at some point it got kinda "boring".
The OVAs are great tough!

I dunno because I haven't watched/read FY yet, but I've read the first volume of
Ayashi no Ceres and I loved it! So far Ayashi no Ceres has my vote unless I see
FY and I like it better.

i like loveteam of tamahome and miyaka, also touya and aya, i only watched full episodes of ayashi no ceres so i've chosed ayashi no ceres.
I prefer Fushigi Yugi. I can't think of the words to put it in....It's just better. I feel Fushigi yugi creates more of an actual 'story' for me.

Ayashi no Ceres. FY was too cliche, Ceres was dark and angsty and owns everything.

I am a supporter of this artist and I like ayashino ceres...great storyline and great music....
Ayashi... ^^ Fav char is shuro.. tho they didn't show much of her in the anime - but her appearance in the manga rocks!
