There probably are other threads like this, but I like listing my favorite anime.

1. Neon Genesis - A masterpiece of storytelling...I've watched it through six or seven times.
2. Samurai X - I'm talking about the Directors cut OAVs, not the series or the movie.
3. Saikano (My Girlfriend the Ultimate Weapon) - "The last love song on this lonely planet" this is a bueatiful anime art and story. It's on my saddest anime ever list.
4. Fruit Baskets - If you watched this anime...it is on your 5 top list.
5. Cowboy Bebop + movie - common, bounty hunters, perpetual hunger, and a dog...got to love it.
