i listen mostly to anime music or j-pop the lyrics are mostly japanese but I dont care about the lyrics as long as the music flows in my ears

I guess it's always a plus when you understand the words... but I also often listen to songs in Italian and Japanese... and still adore them. Now that I know some Spanish as well, I'm glad I can understand a lot of songs (especially when they're not too fast).^^

Nahhh, not really. But I make it a point to figure it out one day. If the beat is catchy, I don't care how wierd the lyrics are.

Alot of my favorite songs are from Japanese anime opening and ending themes. I can underatand the lyrics in bits and pieces but sometimes, not enough to know what the song is really about. For me, its all about the sound and rythem. Same goes for english songs. I made understand the lyrics, but most of the time, I don't pay attention to the words at all. If it sounds good to my ears, then I'm enjoying it.
