cars are mainly transports of going from point A to B. In australia, it's so
huge, that a car is needed, since bus and trains aren't frequent or really reach
where u wanna go.
although, cars are also the ego factor of men. some guys would think that they
could impress girls with good looking cars. similarly, they want to show off
their hi-fi and mods done to their car. it's just , trying to be different and
trying to be an ego on the road, but still, it's just like fashion, u just want
to be different
Now adays msn think cars as sex symbols,
They think if i get the car better then anyone , I can get anygirl and other men
would be jealous of me,
They want the attention,
OR
For others that are not like that, they love anything about cars, just like
anyone else, everyone likes something that others may not,
but that does not mean it will last forever..
well, to be honest, i think most dates wont like to take a long walk to the
cinema, but driving something that catches to eye too obsessively, it's just a
prey for cops
car owners get fined, when their cars are too fancy and are view obstructing
objects, lol
Because cars are your personal property, the rules reguarding your house in many
places also aplies to your car. So you can denigh a police premission to search
your car much like your home, make them get that search warrant!
There are other things to think about, some guys do their own work on their
cars. It doesn't matter whether you just changed the oil or put new rotors on
the wheels, they're putting a lot of time and money into their cars to keep them
in good working condition to keep them as long as possible. And who can blame
them what with most good vehicles costing $15,000 or more, you want to hold on
to it for several years. After a home a car is the second biggest purchase
you'll ever make, and with cars you'll end up buying several over your
lifetime.
Then there are the gearheads. These are the guy that love horse power, it may be
something in their head that makes them think they need 350 HP engine that will
leave everything in the dust. Maybe they see it as a sysmbol of their masclinity
(did I spell that right?) or maybe they're trying to over compensate for
something.
I love my car, I do as much work on it as I can. I consider it my home away from
home. And after I do regular checks on it myself and keep it working great. I
think I should be a little entitled to be a little obsessive about it.
Id get excited over a car probably before I got excided over a girl. Its kinda
like when you see a girl you have seen them all. But with cars everyone of them
is different and unique in its own way. I own a 01' Mustang GT and I know its
unlike anycar like it out ther. It has its own mood and everything. She even
sounds like she is going to stale out when I'm talking about another car! Then
there are girls. For me its the same thing all over again everytime I see one.

1.speed
2.customizability(if thats a word)

2nd, well it's just like making a wallpaper, you can put your own personal touch
into your car..i know there are a lot of exaggerated car freaks out there, but
they are just the same with crazy fashion designers who make stupid clothe
swhich you can't wear in public.. my car isn't all hyped up just yet, but i'm
planning to tune it some time soon..
I do it to tune power out of my car. I like speed and the adrenaline rush.
It's kind of like girls with any hobby. Like Needle-point (or whatever). Why
do you like to do it? Because you can make awesome pictures and it's fun-- and
it passes time.
It's the same way for a dude, except... we do it for the horse power not a
picture. =D Plus, it's your own statement to the world.
You can have more than 1 interest, I like cars and guns. And I have preferences
in both catagories. Take a look at TheFlea's Mustangs up there. Now the Mustang
is a car I have no interest in, I'm more of an SUV kind of guy. The small SUVs,
the little Suzuki puddle jumpers and I've owned several of those. They are
better off road than what you think. Currently I have a 05' rav4, not as capable
off road as a Suzuki. The RAV4 has a lower ground clearance.
I own a few guns just for target shooting. I don't expect any one to be
impressed by this, as this is just the way I like to live.
most guys love their cars because they can. its the macho thing my car is nicer
better or faster than yours. it's just the way they are sometimes no biggy

Back to the topic, ummm... I suppose its the same with my opinion on girls and

I like beautiful things. So just the same way that i like a beautiful girl, I
like a beautiful cars. I thought I would be one of those people that argue that
cars are only useful for transport, but I actually love nice cars. i don't buy
like car magazines or keep up with the manufacturers new models but whenever i
see something like a Lambourghini or Ferrari on the road, I'm quick to point

love machinery (not as much as i love women but still) im more obsessed with the
engines and trying to get as much power, speed, fuel eiffency, torque, rpms, and
mpg as i can get
