know. Why so many? Man! My ex has a closet full of shoes that she wears no more
3 or 4 times at most. I know she wears the one she like often. But how much
shoes can you have? Just wondering...
This is a counter strike to deathgoddess topic "What's the deal with guys
and cars?" so I'm just turning the table around for fun and games but
mostly for the ladies that love shoes so much to explain why that is the case...
Well because.... We just like shoes. There's nothing wrong with that. It's not
like there cars or something. If we had an obsession with cars then there's a
problem...
Shoes are pretty and different ones are needed for different occasions. You
need shoes to wear to work, shoes to wear going out to the store or something
like that, shoes to wear for physical activities, shoes to wear when going out
to some place where you need to look nice and you need dress shoes for anything
formal.
Then you have to have shoes that match your outfits and not all shoes match so
you might need multiple shoes for work, going out, formal, or any of the other
categories. It can add up!

guys talking about their new nike air force 1's and shit all the damn time.
My ex gave the same response... I just thought it was some kind of fetish I
don't know about I guess girls like to dress to express even if you don't mind how she look in

Well, I don't think of shoes as anything more than something that protects your
feet from the ground. I have four pairs a shoes: a pair of sandals for when it's
hot; fuzzy slippers for when it's cold; nice shoes in case of a formal event;
and sneakers for everything else.
I don't know what's the deal either, I don't think they're a nice as clothes or
jewelry. Now that I can understand,

Lol I dont know, i guess it turned to some sort of hobby now. Lot of money gone
down the drain tho. Especially if u know u can buy more useful and better

I think it's because... they're crazy!! Just kidding! ^_^ I think it's because

I'd like to ask how many males here notice what type, design or whatever shoes
females wear... I don't know many males that look down at females shoes when
they're talking or looking at them, but do any of you ladys wear designer shoes,
etc to attract men?
It's part of fashion. Girls, by majority, are more concience of their outer
appearance than males. Part of this is shown by their clothes. Shoes are
bought just so they can look good on different occasions and in different
outfits.
Then there are those who, well, just like different shoes. (Kinda like how I
like owning many different types of sunglasses. Though I break 'em all...)
I dunno, men have dress shoes and not dress shoes.
Women have a pair of shoes for every outfit almost. :}
Its just a gender thing, Im not sure why...it just is.
girls are obsessive with shoes....but us girls aren't the only ones that
are...guys are too...believe it or not... like jordans (basketball shoes), air
force ones etc etc etc....
What´s the deal with shoes, you ask? You go out and by a
$1000 wardrobe and wear 5yr old tennis shoes with the ensemble and tell me how
it goes, lol...buying clothing without matching shoes for your outfit is like
buying a mac then buying Doom 3 and expecting one to work with the other. Or in
my world of pc sins, using an AMD processor with a Radeon card instead of an
Nvidia one...you just don´t do it, kids. Surrounded by
pcs, only male friends, cars, and all those joys of my life, I still insist on
wearing perfectly organized, feminine outfits. Its a female thing, and chances
are, men will never really understand, heh. Shoes are cute, small (but shining)
detail needed to complete an outfit. Wouldn´t it throw
your eye off to see a beautiful woman in a gorgeous, sexy dress wearing flip
flops?
*Edit: I wear designer shoes, but I sure as hell do not do it for men. I, and
the few females that I do speak to, wear them because they are not only higher
quality, but also cuter and more unique. We all have our reasons.
What's scary is when my female friends comment on someone else's shoes at a
party. I don't even notice if the person is wearing shoes, and there they are
critiquing...

must admit he has about 5 times more the number of shoes than I do...I love
shoes personally, but I only buy the comfortable ones, and I have to pay for

Four pairs of shoes (I'm a dude): Black sneakers, black shoes, flip-flops and slippers. Black matches everything. =D
