Personally, i like to take my exams on paper because i can write as much as i want and i can write notes and other things. On the other hand is the computer, I don't like the exam to be on the computer because sometimes the computer is too slow or it's not working well or you have some error messages of write your answer especially if you have exams on Java Sys and after all this teachers are blaming me not the computer.....

What about you???!!

computer because is quicker, neater, and you can correct your mistakes!

Paper! Erm...I don't really know why, but I guess that I'm just used to it that way. I've never really ever seen an exam on the computer before...yeah.

computer, b/c i can type faster than i can write and you can correct your mistakes....

Actually...i think i'd stick with pen and paper... i find that i write faster that way, comparatively (i'm a fairly quick writer...had lots of training since i was a kid hah!!!). The only downside is when correcting errors... but you can't just sketch a rough diagram on computer as easily as you could with a pen and paper.

paper then after that i jus go to sleep
after takin the test til the next class

Computer. But after second thought... Maybe paper
What if ur comp jammed halfway??? And cheating is even easier on the computer! The teacher wouldn't even know if that is really your work as all the writings are the same

I'm totlally agree with you.....

Hmm I'm going to go old school and say paper and pencil.....probaly since my school just started to make there exams on computers after I left for college.

Computer! Mainly because I can type so much faster and my handwriting is in the top ten worst list of America. Plus it's slightly more cooler that way.

I've never had an exam on the computer.
So I would have to say paper. Only only bad part is if your writing slot you may get hand cramps. I hate that so much. XD

haha- who wouldn't??? but tht'll kinda be cheatin...wouldn't it?? well.if you had the proper securities and stuff yes it'll be pretty neat :D

it depends on the test. A math test obviously would need paper (if your in a high math level class). I took my diver license on computer. I'd prefere english tests on computer. But all in all I'd like to do tests on computers.

Maths is much better to write on paper. Essays i would say computer. Got spellcheck >< Oh well, that's cheating. But if you are answering essay questions, 100% u wld choose computer. Like my social studies test. 20 mins to answer 2 questions tt require u to write at least 1 page to get around 3/4 of the marks >< My hand hurts writing all those

i would personally choose paper, because i like to write things and i can add more things and stuffs when i write in the psper. and its very conducive also for me.

probably depends on what kind of exam you're taking. if you're basical taking essay-type or multiple-type questions, then using a computer would probably save you a lot of time.

if it's something that needs to be solved, paper works better... since you can doodle away, sketch if needed, make extensive mathematical equations, and simple box your final answer!

Computer!! I'd be able to write much longer essays without my hand getting cramp. The longest I can write for without dying is 2 pages. And that's just the average length of my essays. Argh.

I'm sticking to papper because I can have a bird's eye veiw of my essays, besides I have the freedom to draw on it while I'm bored :)

paper for everything xD

I prefer to take exams on a computer.
You have to love uni exams when there multiple choice, and open book i.e. the internet. :D

And also because I get my results back as soon as I finish.
I also havn't written anything much with a pen for a very long time. Though I had a written test on databases and security recently which killed my hand.

The only time I've had a exam on the computer was one where everything turned quite disastrous. Apparently you must have the exact spelling and wordings with the answers. Thus it was quite difficult to get answers correct. @_@

Defintly a computer, if:
* Its running BSD (includes Mac OS X) or Linux
* Running a stable browser and stable version of X
* The test is XHTML/browser based
* The test doesnt use complicated javascript functions that seem to get in your way

Windows will do, but if I have to use IE, then I get a bit worried it will crash or something.
If the test uses some kind of Java or other applet inside a HTML page, then thats also a bit worrying. Java has never proved to be reliable, but has always proved to get in the way >_>

Paper is fine, but I hate it if the person who marks it changes the mark a bit, just because of how messy it is, or how many mistakes there are crossed out (which rarely happens thankfully).
