Anyone here seen flcl... I watched part of it last night... it left me rather
dazed and confused.... really.... It is much better than the manga I thought...
but still really wierd! any comments would be nice... I wanna know about the
wierdness that was that show and does anyone else think it is wierd?
[AS] aired this show like last year summer. It only has a total of 6 episodes. I
had to watch the series over to understand it because of all the confusion in
the show. But I happen to like the show ^_^ It's pretty cool, yet weird. Not to
mention, it was funny at times. Never read the manga though.
I have vague recollections of the series (it briefly aired on CN's Adult Swim
roughly two years ago). I did find the series wierd and the plot never made much
sense, but FLCL was quite humorous.
Its supposed to be weird and off the wall though...thats what makes it so great.
I just wish it was longer...I want more guitar bashing and fighting! ^_^
It all makes much, much more sense after you watch episodes 5 and 6 and hear the
explanations of what's coming out of the people's heads. Plus the finale looks
just cool. If you only watch the first few, it's bewildering. Also, it's much
better when you watch it the second time around and therefore know what's
exactly going on. ^^
I love flcl!!! It's sooo cool. I have a bass guitar but it's not blue =( I don't
think it's weird at all you understand it at the end. Like that movie: Fight
Club.
This show is completely wacked out.. . and thats the main reason why its one of
my favorite anime
series! Gainax has been known to push things to the edge, and this show proves
that they can
also shove stuff off the edge, going crashing to the floor. Smash. FLCL is an
endearing story about
a boy, and his older brothers girlfriend in a pretty a pretty normal town.. .
in the twilight zone. I
always thought smacking people people with electric instruments was the best way
get those pesky
aliens out, but thats just me I guess. Too many cups of coffee, and a light
table will make anyone
Furi Kuri. I just can't help but grow fonder of Gainax for making this show
happen. P.S. The South
Park, Matrix, and Lupin references, are just darling.
kehh! It's a very funny anime. Don't try to figure things out until the end,
cause I would say, most of the time things do not make any sense! That's the
charm of FLCL xd
i didn't like it at first, but I think FLCL is one of the best animes gainax
did. And the ending was great!!

Does that not sounds like the catch line to someone living in complete denial, I
was never a big fan of the series, but have both the DVD and Manga in my house
(They are My Brothers)
Id have to say, it kinda surprises me that i dont like it as i enjoy stuff thats
different, puni puni poemi was great, excel saga(although not different just
insane) was also great.
I suppose i was never meant to comprehend it, but that is the greatest thing
about anime, it isnt main stream crap like so many american movies such as XXX
etc. Its a deeper method of expression and i belive thats why so many just dont
see it as anything more than a cartoon.
FLCL is a short little series about people taking the incredible things that
happen in everyday life for granted, until the unexpected arrives, whacks you
upside the head, and causes all sorts of amazing stuff to come boiling out. (If,
of course, you're good/bright/lucky enough to have the right kind of head.)
It also:
1) points out the advantages of sometimes being brainless
2) covers the difference between someone loving their impression of what you are
vs. who you really are
3 and offers its take on the old adage "Love is sacrifice".
oh man!! i love fooly cooly!! it's so funny. but it's not so confusing, when
Haruhara Haruko hit Naota with the guitar, it opened an interdementional portal
to where anything can be pulled out, wich in this case is Ta-kun's head. that's
how lord kanti was pulled out. haruko is actually an alien hunter by the way too
^^ i hope that helped!

i loved flcl sure its weird, confusing, and only 6 episodes but there real funny and good.

yeah it is kinda weird but it is very cool. btw a new season in comming out. not sure when, but its in the works

i really like flcl, it may get a little wierd but it is still good
