was watchin eva movie so I watched to and then first series I saw was eva then
came my anime life:PSo thanks lots bro.
Um... I think it was on TV when I went to Hong Kong... that was how I was
exposed to it... besides, to a little girl at the age, cute Sanrio characters
were sure alluring
I saw a preview on TV for Wicked City. I remember it strongly in My head, and
loved it, years later it finally reached the shores of my backwards country and
i snapped it up. Ofcourse i had seen much anime before that point, but it never
clicked to me as anime, i just saw it as cartoons (did i have a lot to learn
lol)
when i was real little i used to watch speed racer. I didn't actually know it
was japanese until i started watching yugioh (and then stopped, after i first
read shonen jump and realized how mangled the english anime was)
I was a total girly girl when I was about 13 and loved Sailor Moon. Uggh! Well,
I do have to thank them for getting me into anime though, becuase I wanted to
get the Stars season and ordered it online and then I started looking up other
anime online, and I was hooked! (I love E-bay!) The rest, is as they say, is

I saw various shows on TV. I guess DBZ was the first one that I started
watching on a regular basis, though I've since quit. (it drags things out way
to long) But, because of that, I started looking for and watching other shows.
I found Voltron : Defender of the
Universe on television one day and that was my first anime for a few
years, then I rediscovered anime through Love
Hina.

was digimon on fox five...doesn't really matter. i really like anime or manga!
well when I was young, I used to watch anime all day on the tv here in Hong
Kong. There would be series that would show everyday and I will end up watching
like 5 hours of tv everyday because there was nothing to do.
Then after some time, I kinda left it. The obsession came back with digimon and
couple of other kiddy animes.
Then my friend introduced me to naruto and that was when it all started.
Well, as animes on tv are seldom in Germany, it needed my former gilrfriend to
point me on some drawings called "Manga". Of course, the girlish ones
didn't interest me. Some months later people started talking about "Ghost
in the Shell" and in order to keep track with recent topics I begun
searching for that anime: "I am afraid I do not own the one you're
searching for, but maybe this one will fit your taste..."
okies, I think I was in 2nd grade when Pokemon started airing on kids wb, but I
didn't know it was anime at the time, then Cardcaptors came on when I was in 3rd
grade and i really liked it (now I know how mis-translated it is), and i still
didn't know it was anime, but I noticed that it looked different (big saucer
eyes, anime falls, etc.) in 5th grade, we got a really nice computer (sony
vaio, we still have it, and I'm using it right now ^^) and dsl so I spent almost
all of my time on the computer; I looked up some stuff on Utada Hikaru because I
just played Kingdom Hearts over at my best buddie's house and i wanted to know
who sang the opening theme and I saw a bunch of stuff on one of her sites on
anime so I looked it up, and I've been hooked ever since. . .thankies for
reading ^^;
