This my friend is very distrubing.

Okay.....
That is jus plain irresponsible..
But it may be true.. I used to play mohaa online... quite long ago tho... the servers were full of koreans...

damn this is sick

it's probably really true
someone already replied: You didn't know...South Koreans love games more than life itself.

this is a bit insane, loving games more then life!!!????
if it's true then why did they have a kid??!!
don't take a kid if your not gonna take care of it
THAT'S sick!!!!!!!

yeah sick is right but its not the games its the people,no one makes you play these gamews you do,its your life your free will learn to control it people!!

omg... Play is fine and all, but responsibility comes first... Some people need to sort things out...

Evidently I'm not an online game player, and evidently I know what effects it can bring to those who become obsessed by it since it happened to some of my other acquaintances at university. **Shrugs** Not that I'm interested at all, but funny enough, I've seen worse cases.

It all comes down to one point - the neglecting of parenthood. Leave a baby in a car for hours on end while roaming around town, during the steaming summertime and tell me what you think. There's a lot of people out there who have an incredible lack of responsibility pretty much everywhere you go, and I've even come across many friends whose parents hardly even care for their own children. It's an obvious sad fact - and it won't look any better in the long run.

Oh yes, and that article was only a unique case in South Korea. But all around the world, there's a whole lot of terrible things going on, so thinking that this is mad and that the country should be pointed at is only the tip of the iceberg.

I read that the other day. That is very sad. I myself am I die-hard gamer, but even I know there are some things that are more important than games.

they should be shot! *grabs sniper rilfe* excuse me...

This isn't the first time something like this has happened. I think one of them dropped dead from playing Starcraft too long. Zerg rush kekekeke.

And now you can order pizza from your everquest window! So, you know, you don't have to go to the phone to order food anymore.

I'm so tired of seeing this. I am an avid WoW player and sick of seeing this. (I know it's the first time here, but yeah).

Simply: blame the people, not the game.

Lol, let's see how they handle Armored Core....

we would destroy them.

Definitly stupid people. I mean, wtf? Jin's got a point when he says to blame the parents. That's just stupid >=O

WOw was a sad story in the case that those parents where retards leveing a 4 month old at home dam i played Wow 1 time i dint like that much

The fact is that in most Asian countries alot of bad things related to video games happen. Because over there, its considered the norm to play religiously. Heck the Asian have turned it into a freakin' sport. It not a bad thing to play video games, just don't obsess over them. That kid's parents needed serious help.

What they were thinking........... i mean, how a game can be more important that your child (if u have one ov course), i don't know this world is very freak, und this is one ov the very freak things that i've heard(or read) this last times..

some people... ugh. string em up by their toes and let em hang

that is one pair of horrible parents. they should be left without anything for five weeks see how the like being killed

What the heck that is just seriously messed up. I hope they were punished for that. I mean that is complete and utter nonsense. Leaving a four month old child home alone to paly a computer game. What's worse is that they've done it before. Man what the heck is this world coming to when games are valued more than the life of a person.

Wrap them in barbed wire & leave them hanging... in a dark room with an annoying screeching sound that will last for some time with pictures of their baby hanging in front of their faces. Occasionally give them an electric shock. They'd want to die now, but no. Keep them alive & continue their suffering. Drop them in a pool of blood & flush them out! Hahaha! Serves them right...

People like that dishonor gamer world wide!!!
Good thing i still have a free hit.

I couldn't agree more. If they get so drawn into the game that they feel they have to do that, then they should not be allowed to have children and should be under some sort of care.

well i play mmorpg's sometimes but i don't play for hours on end. these parents should have just taken the baby with them to the cafe because its not ilegal to have a child at a netcafe with you

Yeh, I saw that report before. That is disturbing... perhaps indicative of a lack of maturity in some of the adults in this world. You more learn to be mature than just become it as your get older, some people need to learn to be mature.
