I was wondering what made you join MT?
was it the backgrounds?
was it the scans?
was it the fanart?

Ah well actually, I wasn't the one who found this site. It was my sister. She
had so many of the best wallpapers I've ever seen saved on our computer, so I
decided to check it out and I automatically registered. Then I forgot that I
ever dropped by this site, and it was only 3 weeks later that I began to become
active here!
To be honest i was hunting for ggx backgrounds when i stumbled upon this site i
was amazed by all the wallpapers ppl made and this is the only place ive ever
seen them ( but what realy made
me join is the fact you have to be lvl 10 to get scans ><)
Great scans and wallpaper, very nice people to talk too!, very interactive
forums, and just a cool and nice neat webpage. The best thing I like was the
people and the scans.
Hmm..Well. I actually visited MT a few times because a friend of mine on here
known as CrimsonShade. She would always say "go to MiniTokyo.net"
while we were on the phone and I was on the computer. And at first, the site
always took so long to load and there
for I was like But then, I dunno. I guess I joined MT to get feedback and advice
on my work. There are people on here that I really enjoy hearing from and at the
same time really good people here. All in all I'm glad that I joined.
At first of course because of the walls and scans MT had, but then I found some
new friends and now the walls/scans were secondary to my groups community.
Around late July of last year, was wondering around and was trying to find out
what happened to ZZ (Not really stalking, I was a fan of his work when he was at
Deviant) and saw that he started up a website with TwistedGTX, found out that I
was rather late and found out that he was at another website, Rave anime. Found
Minitokyo from Rave anime and was actually rather amazed by the structure of MT.
Very nicely done and a great layout. I was hooked instantly. Though..due
to work, I'm rarely on anymore =/ I still try to get on, but nonetheless.
The reason I joined was because of one of Taste's wallpapers, which was later
deleted. I enjoy being able to not only comment on gallery items, but the
friendly atmosphere, though MT...well to most, has really changed since. Of
course you'll find quite a few of the oldies from MT hanging out on the IRC
channel. I stay at MT for the same reason I first started posting here and I
plan on staying here for quite sometime as well =P.
welpz i had MT in my favs for such a long time but i didn't have time to look
around
and at that time i was really into anime images and so i went back to MT
and i couldn't see images so i joined in
when i joined in to MT that was when i started making wallpapers
and here i am still and proud to have joined in MT ^^
I originally joined so that i could look at the beautiful fanart thumbnails :P
It wasn't until half a year later that i finally decided to submit my own stuff

here i am
i'm a sucker for walls. i have like a thousand anime walls, other types of walls
not included. so when i stumbled upon in mt, i was hooked. mt is also thereason
why i started making walls.. i'm still learning the craft, but i'm learning a
lot from nice people here who comment my walls..

For the record though, I joined because I saw some really neat scans that I
couldn't find elsewhere on the net.
For me it was a chance to not only download great scans and wallpapers but to
creat and submit my own creations,many other websites out there dont let you
submit so MT really caught my attention.
I was very much motivaied by the wallpapers to join!! I was searching on the net
last year and found this site since I was sooo bored with my desktop. Also, I
want to share my work with others and find out what they think and how I can
improve.
Now that I make my own desktop wallpaper, I don't have to be stuck with a boring
background picture again!!
Scans, wallpapers, the atmospehere... everything ^__^ I had never been in a
community before, and I thought this one was a very good one, a place to meet
people who likes anime as I do, and a place where people can gave their opinion
about my artwork ^_^ All together made me take that decision, and I'm very happy
