gay? nothing against it. well, i believe what most people here believe. although it's hard sometimes, when it's against your religon. i do believe it's unnatural, and sad, because they can't ever have children of their own, unless of course they adopt. since they're so many different kinds of couples in the world, it shouldn't matter if some are like that. as long as you're happy, it doesn't matter who your soulmate is! ^^

`Let's get a few things straight:

1. Homosexuality isn't caused by your birth, God made you to procreate with women. The reason people are gay is because they choose to be. Usually it is because men are hornier younger and want to have sex around age 15 while girls don't feel ready yet, so guys go have sex with other men.
2. Homosexuality isn't a sin I gues... But sodomy is and God said in the Bible that Sodomy is a sin against god.

In my opinion homosexuality is explicitly wrong. (Sorry Shuichii..., Sorry Ishida...) I don't really think gays will go to hell though, I think that god will show mercy.

Being gay is not to be blamed on the person , it is a hormone imbalance that takes place before the person is born.an eperiment had taken place in wich men were subjected to female hormones and the men's hormones showed a big reaction, then gay males were subjected to female hormones and no reaction, same with gay women but vise versa. so it is scientifacally proven that males cannot choose to be gay, just as women cannot choose to be gay.

I hardly think that a person's feelings can be stopped by sheer will. This seems to be a growing misconception these days as the ignorant, self-professed know-it-alls are believe that this is truly the cure for everything. If such is the case, then why are people suffering from depression, bipolar disorder, etc.? No one wants to pay for drugs, and no one wants to be ill. You could call it escapism, but sometimes people can help themselves. The same can be said for gay people.

I firmly believe that gay people are born into that interest. Does that make them "ill"? Of course not. This is merely more persecution against their beliefs. I know because I have seen many good gay people in my life, never infringing on mine and living perfectly happy normal lives. Yes, HIV and AIDs are a problem, but this is also in the heterosexual community as well, isn't it? There are ways to treat and prevent these illnesses for all. It is at the cost of those who engage in such activities to look after themselves, not strictly because they are gay.

Finally, I am getting so tired of people hiding behind the Bible. I am a Christian, and I am still tired of all this gay-bashing. You must remember that this was a book written thousands of years ago, by a number of different men and through their interpretations. Interpretations that could have as much validity as falsehood, but I digress. I do believe that the Bible is meant to ispire, not to act as a rulebook of life. Also, wasn't it Jesus that had always preached that you must love others as you do yourself?

Jesus loved the sick, the provocative, and the traitorous... What makes you think that gay people who try to follow their faith (and even those who do not) should be persecuted for being themselves?

It's good to have gays in the world... it increases the number of single women for me!

Using the bible as a piece of evidence against homosexuality is utterly ridiculus. Not all people believe in the bible and as such do not have to believe that homosexuality is bad because of that. Also considering that the bible allows for slavery and genocide I can hardly say that it's the "good book" Here's an example of genocide in the bible where God orders Moses to completely destroy the peopel of Canaan.

I don't think homosexuality is genetic always either. I think it's nurture. If someone is raised in a environment where homosexuality is accepted I'd think there'd be a greater chance of a person being bisexual or at least tolerant of others. If homosexuality was only genetic I'd think it'd be less common. Also there should be family trees filled with homosexuals if this were the case. This however is not always true.

It cannot even be said that homosexuality is unnatural. Lots of things can be considered unnatural. For example are cars natural? Obviously not because I have yet to find a car living in the wild in it's "natural" habitat. Is the whole of human society including the murderers, the psychopaths, and the molesters natural? I hope not. Some might say because homosexuals cannot reproduce would make them unnatural. In the future this may not be true. As cloning and genetic engineering become more advanced we may one day see the first child born to a gay couple. (I'm assuming they are lesbians. If not they may use a surrogate mother.)

In the end I say homosexuality is a byproduct created by an society that is growing more and more complex. I'm all for homosexuality.

As far as I heard in Japan if you are gay you pretty much get your head cut off. (Don't base everything you know about Japan from anime plz. thx... ) Also, the Bible hasn't said anything about "slaughter you gay neighbor"... (God does that himself...)

i agree....the bible can not automatically be assumed to be correct because there are other religons/scriputres that are tolerate of homosexuality. and just on the 'cant produce children' neither can sterile men or infertile women...so they should not be able to fall in love and have sex because the can't have kids?

Then we have heard different things As far as I know, homosexuality hasn't been out of place in Japanese history (samurai, kabuki, etc) but I'll concede that I'm not very knowledgeable about modern Japan

I'm from San Francisco. As far as I know, we're very tolerant here (I mean, they have Gay Pride days/parades/whatevers). Haha TV is getting more tolerant too
