a) Call the police
b) Get a weapon then try to find a way out - i ish good at sneaking ^-^
c) If i cant find a way out HIDE - i ish good at that too ^-^
d) If he/she finds me THROW THINGS AT THEM WHILST SCREAMIN HER HEAD OFF!!

...oh.. and a basic precaution.. when running from a burgler or mass murderer in the home DO NOT run up the stairs, its ideotic ppl, the doors THAT-A-WAY! *points down the stairs*

well, jumping out of window would be wise, well, propably there isn't anything worth of taking so it wouldn't matter much.

it depends on many things, now on the most likely escenario and suposing that my dog was dedated while he was sleeping, I'd take one of my swords 8...yep i have a small collection os swords) and try to chase the thief and scare the hell out of him/her...in the worst case I would have to "unfortunatly" settle the steel

Id call the cops, then grab whatever weapon around, and prepare for battle.

1.laugh at his @$$ for being so stupid to rob a house that only has a couch worth stealing while the house next to it has a ferrari parked outside.
2.jump out my rooms window(although my room is on the second floor so it would considered being suicidal)
3.sleep through the whole event

It depends on the exact situation, but I'd most likely grab the sword I keep next to my bed on the side away from the door, grab my kunai and a few small knives I got from some game at a fair a long time ago that I keep in a drawer that is within reach from my bed.

From there I'd probably go in hiding, trying to listen to where they are in the house and try to determine the number. If it was just 1 person I'd just wait somewhere with my sword ready for when they either try to enter the room or attempt to go down the hall. If there were multiple I'd either try and get to a safe spot to throw some of the knives at them and wait for an opening to use the sword or I'd wait in a narrow area and use my sword as a distraction as I attack with the kunai or just use both to attack more than one at a time.

WHAAAAAA? What are you crazy?!?! Well, unless you are aloud to do that.....i don't think you can kill others. In Canada, i don't think you can do that.

See I don't understand why some people would pretend to sleep. Seriously, some dude just broke into YOUR house, and is going through YOUR belongings and is taking the stuff that YOU worked hard for. Don't be afraid! Seriously, stand up for yourselves! Call the cops. Or if your confident with your fighting skills, take him out. Chances are he'll be pretty surprised to find someone up, and attacking him. Then he'll leave.

Besides, if your in a bed, it'll be easier for the dude to grab you and pin you down.
