I find it humourous that people from other countries refer to Americans as
"yanks". Just goes to show that the world is just as ignorant as us.
With less nukes.
I'm not a big fan of Bush. I would like to see someone else as the president of
USA.
The president in my country sucks as well... But then again, if has was to leave
his position, I wouldn't know of any other politician that could do it any
better, they all suck...
Thomas Sowell
Gen. George Patton, US Army
Bruce Willis
Thomas Jefferson
Zell Miller
Gen. Douglas MacArthur, US Army
Lt. Gen. James N. "Mad Dog" Mattis, USMC
Samuel Adams
Ron Paul
Teddy Roosevelt
Col. Oliver North, USMC
Gen. Robert E. Lee, CS Army
Unfortunately half of these people are dead, and most of the rest are too smart
to want the job.
Generals rarely make good presidents. Sure, Robert E. Lee was a good general
(had his military faults), but I am curious to know your reasoning behind the
idea. And for Bruce Willis, Mattis, Patton, Paul, North...
Is MacArthur the guy who wanted to put toxic waste into that river in China? My
memory is a bit fuzzy, so it might be someone else.
I remember that guy. He used Manila as his fortress here in the Philippines but
he didn't want the city to get destroyed so he moved to an island fortress,
Corregidor.
He's very famous in the Philippines. He said the famous lines: I shall return!.
I have no idea of politics in America, or even where i live; Australia. I'm only
13, so the news isn't really my favourite TV show.
I'd be glad when Bush goes though, because he's sending our troops to Iraq to
fight his battles.
Quote by jakulitoJudging from your post,
you're asking about US Presidents.
Well, I'd definitely want Hillary Clinton in the White House. Based on her
record, I can definitely say she ahs what it takes to run
America.
He's right about this...
Quote: As for my country.. kill the
present president and put me in her place. I'd do a much better job before
getting impeached.
And he's also right here... let Jakulito P. Bayagbag III be President of the
Philippines!

Anyone willing to fight for what he knows to be right
to such a degree is the kind of Commander-In-Chief I
want.
After 9/11, Bruce Willis personally called Bush and
asked for an exemption to Army recruiting age caps so he could go fight
terrorists. He has also been a strong backer of conservative Republicans for as
long as I can remember. He has also got a "tough on terrorism" image
thanks to Die Hard films, which is always good. Image does count for a
President.
Again, what's not to like? A respected Marine colonel,
albeit slandered by a witch-hunting congress and a spinning press for doing the
right thing. I have heard him speak a lot in the past year and I can honestly
say that I believe he would be a wonderful president.

I have no idea. But if

Absolutely. I bet there are very few Pinoys
who don't understand my respect for Gen. MacArthur.
Quote by ZeroDegressbush is a damn
moron he started this war so he could get more resources for his damn country
sorry if that offended anyone.
You say more resources like it was a bad thing.
Also, I defy you to prove beyond a shadow of a doubt that it was a war for
resources. And if it was, why has the price of oil skyrocketed.
ya know.....if it wasn't for bush we all would be dead!!!! and all of the
foriegn countries need to stay out of our elections.....and Hillary???? hahaha
don't make me laugh.....she is running on Bill's reputation!! you want to be
dead vote hillary but if no good ones are out there I'd rather vote
independant!!!

Amen, brotha. What I can't figure out at this point is why anyone would vote
for Hillary for either her or Bill's
record. Both of their records suck.
I have no desire to be dead, so I tend to vote rather carefully. Unfortunately
given the options there is rarely a good option at all, even if you factor in
the candidates nobody has heard of. At least as far as President goes.
I don't know about putting toxic waste into the river in China.
but MacArthur was the guy who didn't agree with the concept of a "limited
war" on communism.
at the time he was leading the US in the Korean War and wanted to completely
defeat communism even if it meant war with China.....or in other words he
implied that he wanted to go so far as to get China involved, as at the time
China was under communist rule. Truman removed MacArthur from command to avoid
enlarging the conflict to include China. MacArthur pleaded his case before
Congress, however, the Joint Chiefs of Staff warned Congress of the danger of
war in Asia, hence causing all of MacArthur's support to collapse.
but to keep things on topic....I don't really know who should be the next
President, as I'm not really a man that's good with politics.

The Korean War I was ok with, pushing the conflict into China and getting them
involved....no.
there's no telling what type of repurcussions the Chinese living in America
would have faced, and there's no telling what it could have done to the current
generation of Chinese living in the US (me included).
It's good to be determined and adamant, but you have to draw a line somewhere.
See I for one will be GLAD when bush's time runs out but who do you all think or better yet WANT to be the next president?
lol i got a joke about yank presidents.
They assinate any half decent president they get!

For Democrats: Joe Biden, Wesley Clark, Russell Feingold

Well, then it's a good thing he can only serve 2 terms, right? ~_^
ill be voting for Nader if he runs again =\
This guy is pretty much on the money.
He's right about this...

anyone will be better than that short-tree forest (Bush), I think....
bush is a damn moron he started this war so he could get more resources for his damn country sorry if that offended anyone.

He likes shooting terrorists.
Never had a cowardly bone in his body.
A no-nonsense constitutionalist Federalist, with fiscal conservatism out the wazoo and a strong desire to get out of the UN. What's not to like?
