have a good reason for that, maybe is more ergonomical, but first i must to

Well, they did mention that the long-handled looking one is just a prototype. I
dont' think Sony will let us down now. If not I'm with thesteelghost. lol.

they really should have stuck to a similar design to the ps2 controllers. it was
the best controller of any system. the new one looks awful. its a boomerang.
hopefully it wont be uncomfortable when i buy the ps3 and use it.
Well you think Sony created this joystick just out of nothing? they made studies
and researches to find the most comfortable joystick for the hands!!! if you
people remember SEGA old joysticks the one that only contains ABC buttons well
they had a boomerang model adn it was the best joystick I ever had because it
was so comfortable and makes you really in control unlike other models so if you
ask me PS3 new joystick model is really cool and one of the best and if there's
something I liked the most about PS3 model is its controllers!

It's not the same controller. The company that originally made the DualShocks or
whatever sued Sony for copyright infringement. Sony had to change their
controller design completely.
im not sure i dig the PS3 controler. It looks like a boomerang! personally, i
think the dual shock is the best controler ever designed. there better be some
cool stuff shoved in there to excuse ditching the dual shock.

I like it. It looks like it has a grip and besides everyone thinks it looks wierd at first but will eventually get used to it.

I hope that my old ps2 controllers will work on the ps3 so that if the new controllers do feel awful I can all ways use those as a back up
i won't comment on the new controlers since i have never seen wat size they will be or how the buttons are placed on it

They look like a sex toy to be completely honest.
I won't mind them though. They seem pretty sleak and comfortable.
