My first Pokemon game was Blue version, and Blastoise was shown on the box so I
thought he was the strongest so I chose Squrtle considering that Blastoise
looked a lot liked him (I wasn't aware that time that Squirtle did evolve to
Blastoise).
On the Johto games, I remember picking Totodile first and Mudkip for the Hoenn
games.

when it came out like four years before it did over here I guess I think I
picked Charmander only cause it could be considered a dragona s charizard.
In my first game (red), I got Bulbasaur for easiness of getting through the gyms
in the beginning. And like a real idiot, it was the only pokemon I trained...
It was a lv.70 something with solarbeam, razorleaf, and other stuff I forgot.
It took getting smoked by Articuno to realize my patheticness... Like I
could've gotten past Blaine...

mi first game was Ruby version and i picked Mudkip, late on the red version i picked squirtle
Squirtle, way back in the blue version, and is still my favourite of all the starters. I just like turtles

Squirtle. Pure and simple. But if I was to play Fire Red or Leaf Green, I'd go with Bulbasaur this time around, like I have previous times.

My first pokemon game was gold, and I chose cyndaquil. I like fast pokemon, and fire pokemon too, so it was an easy choice.
i played my friends Blue before i got mine, i forget what i picked tho ^__^;;
but when i got mine it was Pikachu cause well it was Yellow Version haha
