26 is just right for me! not too long nor too short! enough for character development and also for the plot to thicken! good!

I perfer watching short animes since most longer tend to draw out the story for no real reason and that's a shame for some series that would have been more fit as a short series. I most often donät have time to watch too long animes and that's also why I like OVAs and shorter animes that are ~13 episodes.
Series like FMA is one of those series that does not tend to be drawn out even if it's ~50eps and I don't think it would have done any good to cut it down.

I want a good story with feeling, don't care if it's happy or sad. I want to enjoy watching it and don't want to feel like "wonät it end soon?"

I don't mind long serries, but my budget likes short ones!

I like anime like of max 12 episodes even the ones with 25 or 26 seem like forever... I espesially like FLCL coz it has 6 eps.

I prefer anime that has a good plot and great storyline. If I fall in love with well-developed characters and everything that they go through, then let the series be long! If it's simple and sweet, then that fine too! I'm sure most anime viewers watch for quality and depth of the storys, not so much length. I suppose my answer would be good animes go into the 100s, and the simple stories stick with 52 and 26 episodes!

it depends..If the series is long and starts repeating itself then I would get bored but if it is good then I wouldn't mind it continuing...well 50 to 100 is all I would do because it would be too long otherwise...^.^

Well if the story is intresting all the way then I dont mind a long series. But if I must choose. 26-52 Eps Is fine!

I like the 13 episode OVAs, or the 26 TV Series, some series such as naruto drag on wayyyyy too long, bleach is up to 50 but if its good then it wont be boring

Depends on the genre.I usually dislike harem series being longer than 13 or 24 episodes,but I'm glad to have a long shounen anime like Naruto,One Piece,etc.

Sometimes short animes feel rushed, so I prefer 26 and up. Long ones are good if they stay interesting.

i like series that are 13 eps - 26 exp and alost 50-250 eps if its a good series like db or naruto

I think it prefer to the story if the story is interesting. I hope it can be around 32 or 40+ ( i do not like 100+ episode like drangon ball). But i Hope the story don"t be like Chrono Crusade.

i'd go with the shows around 50 episodes ..... BUT 26 episodes are good too only if they have good story build up and such.. like evangelion or kaze no yojimbo...

It definatley depends on the anime.....some i would prefer that they were shorter(like dbz), others like love hina and ai yori aoshi could have gona a little longer, they definatley leave you with more questions than answers on those.

i like shorter anime a 13 episode is enough but it doenst really matter as long as the story still gets better.

i think 24 - 26 is appropriate for most anime. 12 - 13 is too short, unless the story is fast moving and compact, or do not have a real storyline. but of course some must go beyond. won't you think it's strange to watch CCS shortened to only 13 eps?
