I look out the window
and see you walk by

The stride you have shows
you know hard times

Your step purposeful
Your look knowing

Sleek is your body
Yellow your eyes

You see me watch you and stare
as if to say
this is the life of a stray..

i was watching the strays that i feed here in Okinawa and this is what came to mind...
please be gentle in the critque. i know it isnt too good but that is what came to mind.

i never thought of it that way !! it is in tune isnt it haha

maybe you should ectend your stanzas...two lines are slightly too little to let the reader fully absorb what you're trying to imply
