eh -.,,-;; this isn't that great.. or at least I think so..
I was inspiried to make this.. cause of my mommy's page.. the music on her page made me feel like writing a poem..
so I was like.. eh whatever let's write a poem..
so here it is.. sorry that it isn't something so wonderful T__T
I suck at writing poems..
heheh anyway the title is Silently Waiting..
I think it's like a free verse poem or something.. keke

what is friendship?
is is something that we can eat?
something that we can hear?
something that we can see?
yes.. we can see it.
but can we fully grasp the meaning of it?
a couple of smiles that are exchanged.. is that it?
or is it gossiping about others together?
no.. friendship is more than that
it can be something as small as a simple smile
or something as big as talking to eachother everyday.
whatever friendship is to you .. cherish it
when you lose it .. it is gone
no one can really retrieve what is lost.
but is friendship also love?

When I am with you .. I feel warm
there is something stirring inside me.
I want to spend time with you
more and more each day
I am sad when you are.
Happy when you are.
This may be more than friendship.
I talk to you.. and laugh with you
but you don't think of me more than anything but a friend.
I want to help you when you feel down and touch your lips.
I want to say, "stay happy and don't feel bad..because I am here."
but really all I can say is nothing
and smile a small shy smile
so when I see you with another girl
it cuts me deeply but I stay silent. and encourage your relationship
I realize that..
I.love.you so much
but you would never accept my love.. rejection.. is what you would give me
and you and I would feel awkward around eachother..
and gradually fall apart..
I don't want to ruin the friendship I fought so hard to have
so I will stay silent.. and let you love whom you want
while I silently wait by the sidelines.

wow...that...that brought a tear to my eye...that really meant something to me...i mean if friendship could really grow like that, that would be so awesome. to see friendship like that would mean that, would mean the love for one another would grow more and more each day since u love to be together...im quite seeing that at my school now...people that have g/fs or b/fs and then they are good friends with someone else like a boy or a girl...then they might dump the one they love (or even if they did love) boy or girl and go for that friend instead. but a person can only do that if they see that that friendship is strong in the both of them.

wowie, gracie-chan...that was very beautiful poetry! but i think friendship is also love, cuz i love all of my friends dearly and would do anything for them! and the second verse was so sad...any of this have to do with your real life??

gracie-chan, I must say that is more of a poem than some others I have read. I won't name names. It is very moving, but that maybe jsut because i'm going through the same scenerio.

sometimes free verse poems are some of the most beautiful poems of all, they can express what other types of poems cannot..........
