and id like to count them but I had so many I had to burn a bunch and split more
between my HD's.
Lost count a while back, last time I checked I had broken the 60GB mark ^^;
i only "acquire" 256kbps VBR or higher .mp3s
mostly anime and game soundtracks, and rock, gotta looooove the rock!
Eh, I've only got 500 MP3's but that's because I've got over fifty CD's. I too
am picky when it comes to my music though I'll listen to just about anything.
My library hits the scales at over 1000 files, right now...

i'm at 65GB and rising. i always look for 320kbps or at least the highest i can find, unless i have no other choice.

When acquiring songs, I try to get 320's or VBR's that are encoded using lame.
