Only to people who have earned my trust (which is a limited few), and even then
I make 'em scrub up like a doctor going into surgery before they lay a hand on
them...
I would never lend out my manga. I guess I am overprotective of it? I may lend
out an anime DVD as long as I get it back.
A girl asked me if she could borrow one, but she scratches up the cover and rips
the pages ><
Only lend them to people u know and that u be able to make them pay for them if
they ruined them, they r to expsved to led them out to anybody u don't know or
if u think that they wont tk care off them
only to those that i trust...i had experience that i lost a few of my disc when
my friend return it to me! i don't really rent manga to friends cause they don't
know how to take care of books!
I don't really loan out my anime to people. I don't like it when they caom back
all scratch and not working. I sometime don't even let my sisbling watch it
without me.
The only people I really lend my manga/anime to is my cousin and on friend. Both
of them know to not bend any corners or scratch the discs and stuff. Hardly
anybody at my school are into it anyways.
Quote by T-kunMy problem is that I have
lent another person 2 of my mangas and when this person gave them back they were
ruined.... It maked me very angry! So I want to know if you would lend your
animes and mangas to a strange person!
This happened to me once uppon a time! I gave to a (friend) two series!
Full Metal Panic and Berserk! And now guess what ? They are gone!
SO I was VERY angry . . . I downloaded them again and from now on I give animes
only to best friends or something like that!
I am very strict from now on, on where should i give staff to other people!
I lend my collection out to closer friends (not acquaintances) if they're
interested in certain series and I wouldn't need them in the near future, so if
I've watched or read them already it's generally ok.
Generally I get my stuff returned in the same condition as I lent them out (fear
of getting hunted down and getting their arses kicked? I know where they live!
lol), but sometimes somethings do get damaged & if that was the case they
would replace it for me anyway :P
Although one problem is, there are times when someone borrows something for too
long before they return it, which is troublesome especially if someone else
wants to borrow it
I've yet to have a friend ask to borrow my anime/manga, BUT if they did, I dont
think I would let them.. Id have to kill them if they ruined it/scratched
dvd/lost it/bought a fake mustache and took off with it to mexico, you know that
sort of thing
I do, but i know who i can trust to keep them in good condition.. so yeah gotta
be careful.. getting back scratched dvds or thorned covers/pages when they were
mint condition.. it's pretty sad.. but somehow, you gotta share the passion and
the goodies if you wanna discuss them afterward.
I lend my anime to my sister, but she resently lost 1 dvd and cant fint it..
garrr. I will now reconsider if im gonna lend out some more. I also cound burn a
backup dvd rw and lend that instead.
I only lend them to friends I know will return my things in one piece o.o;; Or
people who are nice and I can trust. It also depends on the series though. If
it's one of my favorites, I keep them safe in my own hands (sometimes even my
sister o.o), if it's anime, if I have time, I'd just burn them a copy or
something ^ ^ Share the goodies~<3
All I'll say is never. Not in a million years since anything I lend out will
almost always come back to me in a worst state then I let it out in and as I
just don't have the money to replace damaged items (that also means if I have to
get a box set if the single disc is out of print)

I lent away somes... but they ended up losing them..so i better do charges next time for lending..
If I trust them...yeah I lend it to them.

absolutely no....
unless we exchange with one another.
Nope I do not let anyone borrow my anime DVDs or my manga.
If they want to they can go to the library and borrow it.
Yes, library have mangas too.
Also there is a place here (in NYC) they have a manga borrowing center.

The best way is to lend a manga and ask for one in return. So if they ruin yours you can ruin theirs!
I've tried it once and the manga was mint when returned.
I'd absolutely murder >=0000000~~~~~! anyone who damages my manga's or anime dvds! They're pretty expensive these days in retail stores.

I lend my Manga to two of my friends. But I always write somewhere which Manga I lend and I ask after some time if she read it or not. ^^'
