well kira is still the main character of the show. the ultimate coordinator,
which makes flawed clones like Cruz, Rey feel uneven... its cool to see Yzak
back with them. however i feel its abit unfair for the 'evil' side. they only
got Impulse Legend Destiny and Geonosis, versus Strike Freedom, Infinite
Justice, Akatsuki, 3 Rick Doms, Yzak and Dearka... lol
can't wait to see the final Phase 50. gotta be missing Gsd
(was imagining Dullinal defeated Archangel and gang, proceeded with Destiny
Plan, thus paving a start for another Gundam Seed sequel... muahahahahah)
Quote by starpandangeli'm wondering
if there will be a special like the last time for gundam

conflicts are gonna be solved in one episode like StryderHiryuu
said.
They can do it. There aren't thany many things left to deal with if you really
think about it. The main thing to be dealt with is the emperor... I mean
Chairman.
Shinn will either see the error of his way or be killed/serioiusly
injured.
Rey will most likely die (one way or another).
The fate of the Minerva (Gladys might get a clue).

if you dont like this series that much, dont watch it.
I truly agree with you, GSD is like one of the best series in gundam
saga.

then GSD will be far more
worst than G Gundam.. (I haven't watched it, but the robot is
impossible !!)
That is why animes are making them
possible. But you'll never know because there are some people in the
world that can make the impossible possible . G
gundam is also great
to watch.
oh btw, episode 50 is going to be out on Japan this
Saturday!!!
Are you crazy?! GSD is one of the best Gundam series ever!!! Have you seen the
UC stuff, when they weren't trying to sell model kits and didn't make the
Gundams gods of war? Those were the best, not Cosmic Era. To be honest, a lot of
this stuff is crap. I still love the Impulse though. Characters like Shinn and
Kira and well you know the rest, they aren't terribly intriguing characters but
they don't suck. Especially Rey, I find him very interesting, even though
everyone wants him to die. And guys like Yzak, why is everuone glad he's back,
he hasn't done much. I liked him alot better in Gundam Seed. Now he just seems
useless. Whatever happened to the Duel? I liked that, and the buster. They
brought characters back like Yzak, but not Sai, what's up with that? Anyways, my
points are kinda random but all I'm saying is just because the mechs look cool
doesn't mean the series is the best. It's GOT ALOT OF ROOM FOR improvement.

Rey is a somewhat interesting character whose origin (I'm guessing) will be
fully revealed during his encounter with Kira.
People are glad to see Yzak & Dearka back because they haven't been used
much this series (kind of answered your own question, without answering
it).
The Duel would be considered an antique by modern standards (Look at what
happened to the Strike Rouge even with Kira flying it) and thus was replaced
(twice over). Buster was also totaled (by the Providence Gundam) thus Dearka
moved to a Gunner Zaku Warrior.
Every series always has room for improvements, but hopefully we'll get one more
GS series and we can see what happened to the rest of the cast (and 2nd series
survivors).

Okay, all I am saying is the story doesn't live up to the quality of animation
(not to say that it is completely mindblowing, theu still use alot of stock
footage and backflashes). If these animations were used to retell Zeta or Gundam
0080 (my personal favorite, the best gundam story ever told) I think that the
overall quality would have to go to Kamille Bidan and the Zeta crew. Tomino and
tell a better story than Fukuda. The Freedom is impressive, but after that, the
pilot is boring, Shinn is somewhat more interesting but still seems paper thin.
Meer, Rey, and Le Crueset were the only characters that I found fascinating. I
wish they could tell a good story with all the other crap.

Stock footage is a cost cutting measure that will not go away in any series
(that can afford to do this, and the scripts will allow it).
GSD uses flashbacks to show what came before and led to that moment in time.
Some find it annoying, personally I don't mind it (personal
preference).
I am not trying to say that ZG isn't better than gs/gsd, that too is personal
preference.
Quote by AirMasterWell...what I feared
to happen finally has happened.
Nothing in the
series was explained. Shinn got no development in this series and
suddenly, they're trying to cram some sort of excuse in the last few
eps.
Bringing back Kira is what killed the new characters IMO. After
all...what has he done? Act like he has the ultimate truth. Disable
tons of suits and shown pratically no emotion until Athrun showed
himself (makes you wonder, eh? ;P). Seriously, I hope that this is the
last time Fukuda touches a Gundam series again. He could've made
something great but decided to procrastinate...The next Gundam series
better be non-SEED. <<;
Shinn no development? What the flippin ding dong have you been

Compared to most Gundam protagonists, Shinn never matured one bit. He's still
like how he was at the beggining of the show and will most likely not change in
20 minutes. Then, Kira comes back, steals the spotlight, makes every pilot in
the Earth Sphere doubt their carreer choice, and ta-da, you have GSD in a
nutshell...
Now, you say that ZAFT would've won the war if Kira hadn't come back...What if
Fukuda finally got off his lazy ass and decided to introduce some EAF aces to
make Shinn's life miserable. Or that Neo wasn't Muu (I still say that he
should've died in gs).
i swear, GSD had ton of potential but it all got wasted to recap eps (I can
understand one or two of those...but the number GSD had, it was just ridiculous)
and re-used animation (don't you dare tell me it's for cost reduction, look at
the old series which didn't have as much re-used footage and had the top
animation for it's days. And they still made it profitable). And those mech
designs...someone fire Okawara and bring Katoki. I seriously hope the next G
series won't be SEED related.

First off, does it really matter for someone to mature at all? Does it effect
the series so much that it becomes bunk in a blink of an eye? I didnt think
so.
Secondly, you do suggest some true information, but there is no sense in playing
the "what if" game, it already happened. Recap episodes also arent a
waste, especially like the one about Meer, but I agree that there are still a
little too many near the end. And like I said before, if you really dont like
it, dont watch it.
Oy read my review for this series.... Another rushed series... Why wait till the
end for the most important battles? This series copied way too much from the UC
series including plot and mech designs and lacks connection to the first series.
I mean besides the fact that the old cast is there, and Shinn's family dying
because of Freedom, there's really nothing that follows the old storyline. it's
all just a political message about the current American situations. Also, will
Kira be confronting Shinn anytime soon in this last episode about accidentally
frying Shinn's family? Or are we to assume this is already true. It'll save even
more time they've wasted on about 20 episodes of non-developing fillers if they
just put the entire 10 second scene of the true culprit at the END following the
rolling credits- So it will go as follows:
Everyone dies as Dully self destructs taking the nuclear powered suits and
everything with them, with no closure whatsoever for our heroes. What is left of
mankind are mutants and roaches and their enlightenment to have true peace at
last. (rolling credits) Freedom fires and misses his opponent. Tori flies by and
crashes into a tree which then falls over and hits a gas tank lying in the
middle of nowhere. It explodes taking all the Haros except the pink one with it
as Tori flies away safely. Shinn's family are amongst the tragedy.

Man... with so much stock footage... i wonder where did the budget for GSD go
to...
But heck... I thought Akatsuki looked great, with it's bling bling gold.
Can't wait for next ep where Shinn finally gets wat should have happened long
ago!!!
The budget for GSD went to the bling bling for Akatsuki XP
I've seen ep 50 and it is a HUGE disappointment.
I won't spoil it for you guys tho.
All you Kira fanboys annoy the f**k outta me and have extremely lousy
comprehension. I know shit about Shinn's personal character besides that he
likes video games and can be very emotional. But has he changed at all from the
first ep? No, he's still angry and confused about his actions. Just because we
Shinn angst here and there doesn't mean he has changed. You're too busy giving
Kira all the love to even notice that.
It does matter if someone matures, especially since the whole show was damned to
be focused on Shinn. I guess cuz Kira's back, Shinn's development dun mean shit
to you fanboys huh?
gsd was getting good but once we've reached OP3 everything gets bad as Kira and
the AA tap deeper into the series. God damn it, they had their time in seed,
they aren't needed in this damned sequal going around acting like their right
and everyone's wrong.
Still, I'm watching the series because Destiny's wings of light are awesome,
Infinite Justice rocks, Legend rocks and Shinn pwns... Besides I've already
gotten so deep in GSD, why would I want to stop now?
So saying "if u dun liek it dun watch it lolz" is pretty weak, since a
person who's at 50 eps would like to see the conclusion regardless it'd be
horrible or not. You'd know that if your comprehension wasn't bad.
gsd is really turning into a disapointment considering that Athrun just owns
Shinn in two seconds, Shinn gets portrayed as a pathetic psychopath (regardless
of how he feels about Lunamaria, WTF) and the DOM trio didn't say anything about
these actions, WTF.

Er...yes it matters. If you watched other Gundam series, you would see that the
characters are affected by what happens around them. What affected Shinn other
than Stellar's death and Athrun's comeback? Nothing...He just screamed like an
idiot when Kira showed himself again. Did the same for Athrun and got
manipulated by Rey and Dully.

So that would force me to watch it anyway, so we would be back to square one ;P
The reason I bothered to continue watching GSD is that I said I would watch all
the Gundam series...the only G series I never managed to finish were ZZ and Turn
A (ZZ because it was completely stupid and Turn A because I'm out of space on my
HD). About the Meer ep...Fukuda could've developped her during the show, not to
wait for her death to suddenly start developping her character.

I just saw the last episode and it wasn't that bad IMO. THe fight sceans were
very cool but I just didn't like how crammed everything was in that short
ammount of time.
Even though I liked it a lot, this series could have been better.
The fight scenes weren't bad true, but it left so many unanswered questions like
when Rey cally Talia mom. The best part was that zaft is like "oh, Destiny
is the ultimate mobile suit" then it gets its ass handed to it by freedom
and them justice. lol. It was funny when you hear Rey say "you can't
protect anyone like that" and I'm like "you can't protect anyone
PERIOD." Also they definitely need a short ova telling what happened to
everyone cause i'm like "and then does everyone just live peacefully or die
a horrible death?" But still a good series. can't complain. well, maybe a
little. Hope they make another gundam series, whether its a gs universe or new.
I think Destiny ended pretty nice since the new world will be build upon
people's hopes and dreams. After all the futue is how you make it not destiny.
After all "if there is a will, there is a way".
On the point of Shin and Rey getting their a** kick, well if you are mentally
unstable for a moment like they were, I think it is quite easy to get shot. It
is a war after all.

It was funny when you hear Rey say "you can't protect anyone like that" and I'm like "you can't protect anyone PERIOD." Also they definitely need a short ova telling what happened to everyone cause i'm like "and then does everyone just live peacefully or die a horrible death?" But still a good series. can't complain. well, maybe a little. Hope they make another gundam series, whether its a gs universe or new.
I think Destiny ended pretty nice since the new world will be build upon people's hopes and dreams. After all the futue is how you make it not destiny. After all "if there is a will, there is a way".
On the point of Shin and Rey getting their a** kick, well if you are mentally unstable for a moment like they were, I think it is quite easy to get shot. It is a war after all.
Couldn't agree more. Bet there will be so-called 'Special Edition' about the aftermath of the battle soon.
Amazing. Someone with the same exact thoughts as me.
Kira Fanboys truly annoy the f*** out of me since his character is just GOD.
Shinn's character is so underrated..
