Are the Apple ipods essential?I am asking this
because i while ago ,i was very exited to buy a new ipod ,i had a mp3 player
little like a pocket , i bought that because the ipod of 5 gigas was too
expensive ,well is expensive now but can not believe , 5000 songs ? i realized ,
are innecessary , i have a cd player ,i can play my mp3 songs , i like have 70
songs in a cd in differents folders , and i can not listen all , just like 30
or 50 in a day ,so , in my opinion the ipods are small and very handle ,but i
think is just the technology ,because is usless , what do you think ?do you have
ipod ?do you listen 1000 songs in days? i think with 500 are enough . can you
tell me your opinion ?i will be very happy to read your commentaries.
if u want cheap get the iPod shuffle 100 bucks 150 songs when u convert all to
128kbps AAC thats a deal well i got it for free i cant complain coz my dad is PC
illiterate and sum1 gave him an iPod for a gift then he gave it to me
Well, no offense, but your grammer needs a bit of work.
Still, as long as the audience knows what you mean, it doesn't matter does
it?
Heh. I don't have an ipod, but i see SO MANY peaople with them .geez, they're
just overrated if I do say so myself. They hold 3 thousnad billion ka-jillion
songs...wow, who cares? You've got a great point, and the fact that a person
doesn't listen to tha tmany songs should be heard by those i-pod i-diots. Heh.
Simply put, I think even a simple 200 are enough.
yeap you are right ,my english is my good enough but i am trying to improve
mine ,i think i have to go to school again but doesn't matter ,is like you
said , as long the people try to figure wha t i want to say ,thanks for the
advice .
well i dun thjink that i pods are rthat important becuase my mp3 is doing fine
plus i dun need that many s songs it is a waste og money but for some people who
like spend money then they would get one (no offense)
I have two ipods, the original and a mini. I have used them a combined total of
about 10 times. I could never find the song I wanted to listen to, so I just
gave up. I do have the new Motorola Rockr cell phone. It has itunes on it. I
have used it more than both of the ipods, and the phone only holds 100 songs. So
no, I do not think having an ipod that holds thousands of songs is nessesary.
I'm just glad the ipods were gifts. The ipods are nice to have if you want to
use them as hard drives though.
Not necessary, there are other MP3 players that sell for a lot less, and it's
more easier to use.
For Ipod you must use Itunes to import song into the Ipod. If you try to
just direct copy and paste it will not work, which is kind of dumb. I guess it's
has somthing
to do with DRM. (Well I may be wrong though)
i have an ipod mini and it can hold 1000 songs. i don't recommend buying it. i'm
saying this because altho the battery is rechargable, the batter is gonna become
useless after a while and u have to pay $100 canadian to get it replaced (plus
shipping it to california). i kinda regret buying it and i don't think it lasts
18 hours like it advertised to.
You must mean 'necessity' rather than 'necessary'.
Personally, I think iPod is a luxury, definitely not a necessity. When you say
necessity or consider something as such, you really need it for day to day life
i.e. without which your condition of life deteriorates. That said, I have around
100 songs in my flashdrive/MP3 player (with digital display) yet I usually
barely reach the 20th song before I shut it off. I have MP3s & player in my
mobile phone too - same thing. This of course depends on the individual but 1000
songs? 5000 songs? Even the most hardcore music fan won't listen to them
all.
Though this may sound derogative but I think iPod only appeals to those who want
to look cool while listening to songs. Cost is of 2nd importance (where I am,
iPod costs quite high - rm1,219-00). I certainly can afford one but I don't
because I don't need it. The humble flashdrive/MP3 player works just as well.
It's kinder to your pockets and works just as well (ok, you can't view images on
pocket MP3 player).
never cared if I had an ipod my mp3 player is fine for when Im out and I don't
listen to that much music until I go to bed and for that I have a cd player
Ipods are cool.. and it's one of the items of
the year meaning everyone must get one.. their not nessary, there just a plus
thing to have.. and besides we can use other stuff to hear music not just an
ipod.. but well anyway.. hi kuclo or alex..
I love iPods they're so awesome. They hold all my music and I have like 15 gbs
of music. That and you can so use them as portable harddrives to carry your work
files especially if your into video editing cause you can just use the ipod to
hold that work file on. I love how verstile it is.
So what if you don't have an ipod? You can always listen to music with a regular
MP3 player. 5000 songs? No one's gonna listen to such a number of MP3s coz they
know their eardrums are gonna bust. Ipods are just another trendy, status
symbols that SOME people (I'd like to call music nerds / wanna be musc nerds /
show offs) carry around to brag to strangers.
It's not a necessity, just something to make your life a bit easier. Personally,
I switched to a larger capacity player (not Ipod ) to
save myself time from constant switching of mp3 CDs. Another issue is their
size, I cannot fit my CD sized player before in my pocket.
Nope. I never thought of iPod as a necessity. I already have cd player that
can play mp3 and it has been more than adequate for my need and not to mention
much cheaper.
i personally feel iPod is over-priced compared to other similar mp3 players.
I have an ipod mini and i only have like 300 songs? and the most i listen to in
a day is about 50....like in school or something when i'm doing my homework or
something. but if u prefer something more discreet i would get something
smaller since it is a bit bulky if ur trying to hide it from ur
teacher...LOL
i don't think its really neccesary..for me it is but yea...who really has time
to listen to it all...it might be better if you just get those small
ones...about 1 gig those are nice, small handy and can hold about 100-200 songs.
anyway... I don't think Ipod's are "necessary". Food is necessary.
Water is necessary. A luxury item to show off is most certainly not
necessary.
Even though it is not necessary, a large player that can fit most of your music
IS nice to have. I don't have an Ipod. I have a small flash MP3 player, far
cheaper, and very handy to listen to music while walking and using public
transportation. I'm not particulary interested in showing off the player - I
don't want to get robbed!!!! However, I'm thinking on getting a higher
capacity MP3 player eventually, capable of fitting my entire CD collection?
Why? I just moved to a different country. I left most of my CDs at home,
because really, my luggage was already to heavy without fitting all my music. I
converted most of my music to MP3 and loaded it into my laptop, however, I'm
running out of HD space for, ahem, useful stuff I need for school. Computer HD
are less pricey, but this is a laptop, I can't further upgrade the HD. And if
I'm building a music collection here, I would really really really like it to be
something that I could use when I'm here or when I return home, which is so far
far away.
so, anyway, whether a large capacity Mp3 player is useful or not depends on your
particular situation

You could always go the route of buying a external hard drive for more portable

Yeah, I'm still pondering on that
I don't have a radio/CD player either here... all i have is my clothing, my
laptop and three pictures.
So.... I still have to see whether external HDD (I'm stuck with USB1 btw) +
stereo > HDD player + speakers I'm still thinking on this, and will
probably take my time. Specially because I don't have money now. .
So, will keep thinking and dreaming, haha
Well ... I don't have a cd-player neither mp3-player ... I don't have anything
to put in my pocket and then listen to music ... I hope one day I will buy that
expensive mp3-player and will be very very happy I
don't think I will ever need i-pod
