I am asking myself why do people lie even thow you ask them to tell you the
truth and to be honest!! False reason they give is because they don't want to
hurt, but please!!! When you discover the truth that was hidden from you by
people you trusted, it hurts more than if you would have been told the truth at
the begining!! I mean you feel like you were played with... so anyone has an
answer???
And here i'm talking about serious lies... I mean when you ask someone a
question and ask them to tell the truth and be honest... this is their chance to
tell everything... but no, they continue to lie...

because of many reasons I think one is that they are afraid to show their real
self,or not to be hurt but the most important reasons some seem to lie for is
that that makes them feel better,is that because they are bad or they like to be
different in front of others..to seem more important.Sick people that lie to
themselves not only to us and also stupid people!I think I'll write more

either really hurt someone or save somebody from getting hurt. people who lie to
themselves must not be seen as stupid, as stupid their actions may seem, but
really have to be helped. in any case you reap what you sow, lies will more then
likely come back to haunt you...
To lie is way easier than telling the truth. Take it from someone who suffered
from telling lies, and only reveal the truth when it's too late.
Confessing the truth with serious matters is like exposing yourself and
weakening yourself infront of the one who is there, or puts you in a condition
that you don't want to be in. The easier thing to do is just lie. To lie is
easy, makes you think that you don't hurt someone and is the fastest solution
you can use.

including polititians, people vote them in and then discover the truth, but you
can't do anything. . .
Friends lie because they need to, for what ever reason, for example to make you
feel better like "its all going to be ok" or "you look nice
today" we do it everyday. . .some do it to protect you like "no, i
didn't see him on saturday" or whatever, most lies are made to keep people
happy. . .
a lot of people are morons, so lies cover up what the morons will be offended
by... thus it all is from fear of the morons, the morons are many in number...
be afraid and falter from honesty, for collateral damage is such a big deal

cowards! Isn't it sometimes also a way to spice up life? :P I mean sometimes
people are lying to make themselves look better at the eyes of others... but
here again it's the fear to not be loved by others that is pointed out! Fear...
We are controlled by Fear and lies are there to prove it!
People lie to hide the truth, dont want to tell the truth, and cant handle what
might happen if they tell the truth. and theres of course a lot of reasons why
people lie, but there can be a lot of stupid excuses they give for why they are
covering up the truth in the first place. depends on the situation i suppose.

You've got a point here... We often are asking for the truth even knowing that
we aren't ready to hear it but I guess some people understand better when they
confront the truth than to make a lot of ideas in their head. I'm like that, I
get mad when I hear what I asked for but I guess it is also human nature to hope
for what they believe in until the end!!

It's instincts...
Could you imagine if everyone told how they truely felt towards someone.
I think there would be alot of hurt feelings and maybe a few deaths imo.
