I have Animax (asia) here. It's nice to have a 24hour channel full of all sorts
of anime. But what I don't like about it was the dubbing... It's kinda funny (in
a sarcastic way)...
Animax totally changed my life when it was introduced on my cable. i loved every
minute of it and got to watch some really great stuff. tho am working now and i
can't watch it anymore

Between the school and the work is really hard for me but somehow i manage to
watch everything or at least what i want...

problem is i moved to different city to work. here only selected areas hae
animax and i don't even have a tv or a cable connection but
hopefully when i have a little more money, i can indulge and watch repeats late
at night.

At least they got new episodes of Full Metal Alchemist.
Animax sucks. The dubbing is abysmal. Honestly, they use the same old man voice
for all the old man characters! Its even worse when they use a deep voice to
dubb Akabane! And the accentation of all the vowels! Examples: Amorote:
AH-mo-ro-tay; Samurai: Sam U ray, and the list goes on! I'm only watching the
original dubbed shows now.

hard to watch inuyasha when they cut every battle scene with a little blood!!!
and what the they did to Rurouni Kenshin have no name!!! a full chapter!!

I agree. Especially with the Akabane stuff. It was better when all the shows
were subbed.

Let's just get this straight... Animax dubbing is abysmal; they don't censore
their anime, they CUT them. If you've watch the first chobbits shown then
compare them to the dubbed one, you'll see what I mean. Also, Animax has
something against Nipponngo. All the commercials that have the original dubbing
usually contain only one one syllable word that could easily be mistaken for
strangled cries. For example: "nani" could easily be mistaken as a
sound of surprise. They don't show a commercial filled with anything more than a
one syllable word. Pathetic.
