There are so much complaints about the credits system that I myself begin to
doubt too. I won't revert back to the level system though.
Although most of you don't know how hard or easy it is to gain credits, you have
assumed that you will run out of credits one day and can't leech anymore.
I may consider the option to make gallery downloading free from credits. How
will you like the credits system then?
I still don't understand how the credits work, and I MT3 doesn't want people to
necessarily know the formula so they can spam, but the speed of earning them
(and what DOES earn them confuses me).
Also, I lost credits accidentally clicking on a scan I'd already downloaded. I
would LOVE if the gallery was free downloads, as I think it would cause less
confusion (or maybe make the 'cost' more visible? I was at a loss as to why the
credits were going down until I finally found the 'cost').
Yes i agree too, gallery downloading free from credits would be a good idea and
will reduce the complains (that what i thing). and what about if we submit new
artwork then we have to use the credits? what the main reason they do that?

I don't like the new credit system. If anything, it would probably stop me from
coming to MT. I think the levels should go back into effect for scans, but keep
the credits for submissions and group creation. Though, I don't want to have to
start over with my levels either. I've been a member for almost a year (it will
be exactly a year in one week), and I don't want to start from square
one.
On a side note, I need to contact support about something, but it seems that
about half the support links are broken.
One way i thought we could earn credits was through favs n comments on our
submissions, only then peeps would be spamming those to get eachother's credits
up
What i really like is the fact that it'll cost credits to upload, it was a bitch
browsing the images and only finding one keeper out of a hundred pages

NO, in Mt2 you needed to be level 10 in order to download scans. If I make
downloading credit-free, it will be available even for just-joined
members.

How many creds does one earn with uploads/posts, etc then so it can be a
reasonable amount of creds.
how about if you submit the scans cost credit while submit your own making
artwork didn't cost credit? because making artwork like wallpapers and doujishi
is so hard and pain in the ass! MT should grateful that they had the beautiful
artwork from their member which already making it so hardly and cost lots of
time! while the scans is simply find, copy and paste!
The scans should be free. After all, one cannot make an anime wallpaper without
an anime scan, but submitting a wallpaper should cost you credits. I believe
this will force wallers to put an amount of effort into their work, as
submitting a cut-and-paste wall should not be rewarded. If one creates a good
wallpaper, they will gain those credits back, and then some. Perhaps credits can
be used to purchase rankings of a sort, in which the user gains priviledges,
such as a discount on creating a group, or browsing the site without any ads.

If you mean credits as in like money to download stuff, well I guess it's only fair since some people do kinda leech.

Why not make the newbies get to a certain number of credit points like 50 points? once they hit that they can start downloading for free
Dunno how complex that could get, but it's like the old system... I know lots of people work hard to get to level 10 to dl scans...
I don't know what the script will be like for that *once you hit 50 you can dl from then on, even if you hit below 50* or whatever...
But it does stop people from dlling like mad.

when i first heard about this idea, it was a real surprise to me. but i believe ill go with
the credit free thing. lol
