I have have "Show Desktop Icons" unchecked so I can see the wallpaper.
But I imagine if I had the icons on it would be messy as heck. I am to lazy to
arange them, that's why I make them *poof* dissapear.
i have nothing on my desktop except the recycle bin on the the bottom right
corner and my wallpaper showing. everything else is in the quick launch thing on
the toolbar. yeah my desktop does look empty, but i usually always have programs
running and stuff opened up.
the only things i have on my desktop are My Recycle Bin, putty (program for
school), and the shortcut to Maplestory, i like to keep my desktop clear so I
can see the pretty wallpapers ^_^
my desktop is organized as well. i dont have that many icons, only 2. and like
Kordox said "I hate having alot of icons on my desktop because then i cant
see my wallpaper".
Well, yeah. I guess you could say it is. It used to be full of icons and other
stuff, but now it's filled with torrents. This is my desktop without
torrents.
I have 5 icons total:
System (renamed from My Computer)
Documents (renamed from My Documents)
LAN (renamed from My Network Places)
Firefox (renamed from Mozilla Firefox)
Recycle Bin (OMG this one's not renamed [because you can't rename the recycle
bin easily])
I use a autohide toolbar on the right side of my screen for launching a lot of
applications I use, and I also have a couple toolbars on my taskbar that slide
up for often used applications. Monitor 2 only has the ultramon taskbar and
nothing else, I keep IM windows and any other window I don't want under a full
screen web browser on monitor 1.
All the icons and the main toolbar are on monitor 1, so monitor 2 only has
whatever MT wallpaper I have selected at the moment in full view. =)
while i wouldn't call it disorganized, my desktop has several
icons scattered all around. it's cause i like the cluttered look
and so i especially arrange them to work with my wallpaper.
My desktop is organised I have the issimetrical and lined perfectly as for the
rest of my PC everything is in order and every file has neat driectory and
numbering system so finding files are easy for me and so forth but others have
problem with my system but they think it is cool and my PC always runs lekker
when keep thing organised the way I do.
My desktop is somewhat organized. I have 3 columns of icons. The first column
has my computer, my doucment, internet browsers, and other system related icons.
The second column is mostly consist of multimedia program icons suchs image
viewers, photoshop, media players. The last column is for my game shortcuts.
36 icons on a 1280x1040 resolution doesn't look too bad.
Yeah, I also have no icons (unchecked the show icons thingy), but even if they
are shown, I only have 2 icons.. the recycle bin and the bluetooth thing :P
nothing at all. i hate when icons cover beautiful walls. see...
and if i wanted to it would show nothing but the wallpaper. KDE rocks when it
comes to desktop customization...i can even place the trash on my panel if i
wanted
I am not organized.... I kinda renamed all my programs with new names, so some
people are confused now when they use it. I also download files to my desktop,
so sometimes there are alot of files there.
Very organized. Usually there are a few clusters of files or folders that I
interact with on a constant basis so I leave them on my desktop until I'm done
with them and they get stored away.

Yes mine is pretty much organized in folders and stuff.
righ tnow it is. but it always gets unorganized after a while.

I always have my icons auto arrange themselves so I don't have to worry about keeping my desktop tidy.
well I guess you call it organized, it has no Icons just how I like it. The backgrounds look sooooo
much better without being covered by icons.
