The new credit system is definitely an improvement. It encourages continual contributions which is essential to keep the site going.
Erm... but i must say... I miss the old layout. :S I need more time to adapt to this new arrangement. :S

can we like go on strike to bring v2 back?

I already had difficulties to browse in the gallery with the old version but now it's killing me.
Not to mention the user page is a real mess.
Credits ? Well maybe the idea is good but will everyone would adopt it ? Not sure of that.

In the forum, we don't know who is the last person who has written in the post. We are now forced to browse the entire post to find out if someone has answered.

I like the speed and the sleakness of the site. It's very cool looking though a bit confusing to get around.

Although I'm still slightly confused, what I don't like are the credits thing. I understand that the credits required to download will prevent leechers, but did I read correctly that it costs credits to post a wallpaper? That doesn't make sense.

i dunno overall i think people have a lot of valid arguments on both sides. I like the faster loading i won't lie, but i think the searching function is a lil off to me. Thats my only real big gripe. I think the point system is decent but i would prefer if it was an instant update as opposed to the long trickle effect.

Oh i lied there is one more gripe Srry but the search function is a lil off for me i was trying to find some stuff that i saw on MT just a few days ago but when i tried to find it today i was ummmm thwarted LOL. And it said taht a certain artist had 79 pics but when i searched his name only like 15 came up. I dunno the search and organization of the walls is a lil annoying other than that its fine.

wtf? what the hell happened? away for a few days and look what happened to MT, but i'm sure sheqel will update us all pretty soon on the new MT so bear with the poor fellows of the MT world and try your best to continue using it like before. i'm sure they worked very hard to upgrade MT and we should appreciate their efforts. i'm sure you wouldn't like to receive stuff like 'i hate this' and 'this sucks' etc etc.. on your own works. so patience and you will see the light.

Well...lets see my ideal Mt would be favs, levels, no genre catagory and well i think credit is cool...basically MT2 is much more fun!
I like the options for ur personal use though ...but the friendlist doesnt have to be so complecated...just 'add to FL' is easier...the new part is unnessassary...

and no signature images anymore i see....well that sucks.

Well I've never stayed long enough to explore yet. All I noticed was my current level 20 has been replaced by 100 credits.

This new system is even harder work for moderators, maybe we should think of minimizing unnecessary activities.

I think that the admins need to give more information about MT3. It should at least lessen ranting a little.

Wow....This new MT is nice and quite complicated. I'll already try all in my minitokyo stuffs. I thinks it's cool. Downloading gallery is being improved, much faster than before. Still not sure about the credits system. I guess we won't find out everything if we don't try it. "A change can do you good." - Sheryl Crow. i don't like this "credits" idea, was it really a problem to allow people
download what they want without limitation ? i don't think so ... so why ?
and yes, the old MT was so much better, even if maybe, with the use of it,
that will be easier for users to find what they want ... Maybe... it's a pity to
change something that works well with something that doesn't work this
well ....

im dissapointed and its very confusing. what happend to all the signatures? thats what really dissapoints me...

i like how it looks but like everyone else I'm still getting used to it. I think its a good start and I do understand the necesity of the credit system (some people just get to level 10 then download everything). The only thing I don't like is they don't have the favorites system up yet, but I'm sure that will change soon ^_^
