Oh, i just think over and over and now i decide to make this thread ^_^. Well,
new MT, really pretty and cool with new server and alot of new things.... but
there are tons of unnormal things and that make us all feel uncomfortable I
want to list some of the thing i don't feel like here:
1/ The friend list +__+. I feel really dissapoint with the new way of adding
friends. Now, when we want to add them, their will be a new board appear and we
have to type their nick there and then click on add. That is so so uncomfortable
and really waste us alot of time. Also we face up with a problem because when i
add my new friend, and then i come back to his/her page, i still see that
"add to friend list" instead of "remove from friend list" as
usual. And i have to add them again and again to make sure they are in my list
now +__+. Really a waste of time ! >.>
2/ I just don't know what is a watch list means after all. Is that a kind of
friend? I add all my friend to my friend list, no watch list. But i see Ketosh
say that our walls good or bad depends on our watch list !?
3/ The avarta and the sig disapear in the wall comment and in our Guest book. I
don't like it, we won't be able to see our friend avarta but only his/her nick.
It is really make we, old members, feel unusual and uncomfortable too +__+. Just
don't know how, i don't have the happy feeling when i am in Mt like before. MT
is so confused now with alot of different just after an afternoon update
T__T
4/ We don't receive the fav notifi as before. That really make us lose our honor
in making walls, and we can't even see the name of the one who add our walls
too, i DON'T like it!
5/ The level system has dissapeared now .... i know it is really fair for all
members but we will have to face alot of prob when we click on a wall, we can't
know it is good or not but only its thumbail. So now we will have to check it
all and lose our credit just to know it is good or not !? And i think that we
should use both, level and credit system. That will let us have the feel of
interest again because the level is the only way make members who love making
walls feel that they are being recognised and being loved ^_^ . But now it has
gone T__T, i have to say that i lose all of my interest in making new walls just
because of it .....
That is okay for now ^_^ Tons of prob happen too but i think that is just
because of MT is still under building ^_^ Well, hope you all can give me the
best advices for my confusing mind now >.>!
"use both level and credit system" how? Blindly saying you don't like
it and asking the admins to fix it isn't going to get anywhere. Make a real
suggestion on how to work the problem. Like a simple members earn 2-3 credits a
day just for being members, or lower the price of downloads so it is more
reasonable for a non artist to keep up with the gallery. The system is fair to
artists who contribute, but unfair to people who arent artists or can't
contribute because they don't have the time.
I don't like the credit system and that the levels were removed. Also, I don't
like the bugs that cut of half of the pages sometimes. ; That's
kind of frustrating. MT is OK now, but it was much much better before the
update.

say * oh but the site is faster * sorry but waiting 1 second and 3-5 seconds for
a page to load is no big deal really. what next then ? you will need to pay a
certain ammount to be able to download ? crazy
Well, there still a lot of bugs, but it's a BETA so we have to wait, and report
any bugs as for the credit thing many of us have made our point of views clear
and i think there is a thread allready about this.
1.) I have no clue on how to add friends except through that annoying page.
Sometimes it is hard to remember the spelling of the person's name, so I have to
go back and copy and paste and then I am not sure myself if I added them or not.
I see the same thing to on their userpage.
2.) I still have no clue what is the difference between watch, hot or
friend.
3.) I am good with faces not with names (esp. weird ones). And an avatar
represents you. Now it is hard to see who is who.
4.) I didn't even know about that with the fav system. I still can't figure out
how to fav yet But anyway, that is a shame. I can't rightly thank people for
faving my walls.
5.) The level system has helped me a lot in determining if the wall was ripped
or not. If it was a low level person but a great wall it warns me.
6.) And as for the credit system--I now have to waste credits to download scans
to see if they are a good quality for the myself to use for walls. And to gain
credits I am forced to comment on others work (which means it won't be an honest
from heart comment) and submit walls as if I am "selling" my work to
get "money" to enjoy this site. It is so....dirty....
Anyway, this might close to being considered complaints, pham *hugs*
1. The recent submissions section are gone from the front page. I think it's
rather sad that when a nice wallpaper is posted, not many will take notice of
it. Thus, the lesser fav the waller get. Moreover, there is a bug that causes
chaos in the notifications.
2. The browsing section. I have a rather difficult time finding the correct
category.
3. Submission page. When I tried to submit my latest wall, I have problems
finding the option submit a wall. If I do not go by the browse section, even
though I'll end up at the same page, I don't see the submission button! That's
really weird and irritating XO
4. Credit system. Why deduct our credit when we SHARE a scan? What if the scan
is good quality? Isn't it unfair that our credits get deducted? For wallpapers,
I have no complain and so are for other sections..
5. It doesn't work really well with IE but I guess I can wait till the admin
fixes it up. Just that I got rather confuse when I use IE.
1) I don't really know much sabout this because I haven't test it yet.

3) I agree because in my opinion no avatar or sign makes the place look very
plain?
4) I agree but Sheqel already said that notifli is useless...
5) No choice...this was to reduce the no. of people taking the wallies and

Overall I think its quite alright as the posts or things that one do in mt will
recover back the lost credits and if we don't try to dl everything..it'll be
fine. Hopefully after everything has been fixed, things will get better! I'm
pretty netural to this... I think the level system won't be back.....so no
choice...instead let's try to accept it! Maybe you'll get used to this after
some time...

1. add a new friend, right above their avatar on their userpage theres three
links, add to watch list, friendlist, or hot list, so you dont hav to type in
their name. Just click either one of it, I suggested friendlist, since i still
hav no clue what the difference between the three either
To add old friend, go to control panel, then click my friends, theres a list of
people from your old friends, you can just check the small box besides their
name. Go to the bottom page and choose friendlist/watch/hot, then click
update
2-5. I think we just hav to get use to it
Basically I just think MT3 is making things more time-consuming. That's about
it, in my opinion. And about the avatar and sigs, yeah, the place looks plain

Hey hey, I think we shouldn't be so fast to criticise the new MT...
I mean...
1. To add friend, I think you can just go to their page, and click on the menu
on the left that say Add To Friendlist... or Watchlist, or Hotlist
2. I think watchlist mean you add the people cos you admire their work or
something, not necessarily bcos they are your friend... it does have different
feeling, right?
3. I think they make the avatar n sig disappear so that we can load each pages
faster... lotsa people always complaint on how slow MT is, and this way I think
it takes off much burden from the server..
4. I dunno why this happen, maybe it was because of the notification bug, or
maybe it is just because fave is not that important anymore in the new MT... I
think if you wanna know how many fave you have, you could just go back to that
particular page for that particular wall.. as for knowing who fave it, you could
always check if ppl mention it in their comment... I kinda have a guess as to
why now we cannot see who fave it anymore... it is not that good to say it here
:P
5. I kinda agree on this point where we have to download the wall while not
knowing whether it's good or bad.. I think we could try asking Sheqel to make
the thumbnail size for the gallery section bigger (I think it's fine for the one
in people's userpages to remain small) so that we can see at least some more
details
And as I have said, we cannot judge and complaint about the new MT so much
(aside from the bugs hehe :P), it is not even implemented for a week :X
We have to try getting used to it, then only we can judge it... and though
people say they love the old MT better, weren't there people who say they do not
like it also? Just try getting used to the new MT You can't
like it if you just keep complaining without trying to get used to it... Just
give it a chance kay?
MT looks cool but there are lots of uneeded things that waste time and space on
MT.Like the buttons are too much they should just be on one catergory,but
instead all the buttons now are seperate which makes you have to go to a new
window like when you want to put an expression you have to push another button
and it goes to a different window. I like MT better the old way because it was

somehow. Though I really, really miss the level system. I'd be in favor for

- But as some others already said, not having avatars and signature pics in
guestbooks and gallerycomments is really confusing and annoying.... I mean, I

- And not getting a notification for having a pic faved is really bad too. One
can't thank people for the favorits....
- And there still are lots of bugs referring groups so I hope they'll get fixed
soon + I can't really understand why we can only be admin of 4 groups now....
I actually don't miss seeing all these annoying 20 line sigs in gallery comments
and guestbook posts, I visit another internet forum often that doesn't even
allow sigs at all, not surprisingly that forum is about 400 levels of maturity
higher then this forum. :P
Maybe its a good thing that we dont get notifs about faves, or can watch what
other people faved other works.
People might then start caring more about good comments instead of how many favs
a wallpaper has.
might just take some time to get used to the new MT. But i personaly don't like
t all that muh. I spent so much timing making my homepage and nows its gone.
What was wrong with the old page? the biggest thing is i dont care how much
every of MT is changed but now I can't find the"most recent" pics,
there used to be on the front page where all the newest stuff was posted.....now
i need to go through each catargory to see the new ones? hmm.....i think it'll
