Quote by coyotesHaven't seen any posts
about this, so i was just wondering, which do you prefer, a short 13-episode
anime series, 26 episodes?, 52 episodes? or the 100+ episode anime series? My
choice...26 episodes
Length doesn't really matter to me. Of course, some anime would have been better
in my opinion they were longer - if they took more time to develop characters or
develop their stories. And some anime would have been better if they cut down
the episodes - remove the filler that is unproductive (doesn't add to the plot
or develop characters). Basically, it doesn't matter how long it is as long as
quality isn't sacrificed.
me... hmm
long i guess....
once the anime finishes, it'll be a pain and i'll prob be sad... but its looking
back at the story and growing up with that anime which makes the anime great...
hmm... preferably animes which doesn't go on for 'too' long. <52 would be
what i think is the suitable number of episodes. i mean, it's not like i don't
like animes which go to like around 100+ episodes. it's just that the content,
storyline must really be stimulating enough to grab my attention. i believe
that's the main thing out of animes. it doesn't really matter if it goes
infinite times. as long as it's stimulating enough, i wouldn't even care on how
many episodes there are. hm?
sounds like i'm contradictin' myself.
I like both a lot. Sometimes it is nice to be able to enjoy the whole story
quickly (13 episodes) but I love book series and miniseries and RPG games,
basically things that go over, so shows like Naruto and Inuyasha I like as well.
I get the best and worst of both but like them the same as long as it is
quality, good storytelling anime.
For me, anything that spans over 30 episodes is way too long. For this reason, I
can't stand anime like Naruto, One Piece, Gundam, and even Bleach. It just fails
to hold my attention and the series usually winds up being repeatitive anyway.
25/26 episodes is usually the perfect area for me.
I think I'd have to say the long ones. I do have a lot of short series, but the
longer one are more memorable to me. Gundam, Urusei Yatsura, Legend of Galactic
Heroes, AT Votoms, all over 45 episodes.
Length doesnt matter. It really depends on what the story is about.
I can like short anime like BECK (26), Peacemaker (24) or long ones like
SlamDunk (101), Rurouni Kenshin (96).
I'm fine with watching long anime so long as the story is progressing and is not
left hanging halfway for half a century.
It depends on what anime though. Some animes can pull off the whole 100+ episode
thing e.i. Naruto. While other animes can't. I frankly Preferr the 13-25 episode
ones. Any recommendations?
Depending on the series....
If I find it interesting and worth the time, then it's ok if it's
long...
But if it really was meant to be short so that it's "goodness" won't
be spoiled, then it's good if it's kept short, unlike some animes before...
They were kinds "spoiled" because they were too long...
Average episode count would be nice.. Fair
and square..
I prefer long anime shows.
Say about 26 episodes or more.
As long if it is interesting.
it depends
but i perfere less than 100
but also i like naruto but am kinda sick of the filler epis

i prefer 26/52 eps anime..
100+ is too long for me.. i'll get boring with it xD
Well... I like 26 when it's a serious anime, but when it's a funny one i prefer when it has 13 ep's...

I like the long ones myself.
I prefere the longer ones. They have beter characters and more dept. But to long series are no fun. They get borring, exept naruto
I like te long ones, like Card Captor Sakura. Short ones annoy me.

Depens of the serie if really need to be short or long but I prefer 26-50 episodes
short and concise about 25 episodes are good.

me too ^^ but for magical girls anime like CCS and Sailor Moon I think more than a hundred episodes can be good
too.
it depends.... but i really like long ones...... so it keeps me from watching the shw......

I suppose 52.. coz then they actually get to finish the whole story properly.. and if it's manga I like it super long
I prefer long anime series too coz i feel sad when it came to ending.....
It depends. If it's long because of the fillers then I don't like it. I really prefer the short ones. They're easier to collect.
