Looking back at it. I'd say my first anime was either Transformers (From Japan originally) or Grims Fairy Tale Classic (was on Nickleodean [dear god, i just finally understood what their name meant])

What really got me started was the Saturday Anime on the Sci-Fi Channel back in the early 90's with such classics as Vampire Hunter D, L.I.L.L.Y. Cat and Record of Lodoss War.

Geesh, looking at all these members saying they got started with CCS, FMA and others makes me feel old.

Um...I think it might have been Mai-Hime and Soul Hunter.

Mine would be Robotech.

hm.. this brings back memories, the first anime that i've watched the entire series of is Gundam Wing, but before that i've only seen bits of Gundam Z, but never the entire series

the first time that crossed my mind to watch some anime was last january... I just saw the first chapter of fullmetal alchemist, and from that on I couldn't stop... It was so amazing, exciting, that it just changed my opinion about "japanese cartoons" as I used to call them.
then I went on to watch some such cool animes that it's impossible to describe them all in a short time.. I hope you enjoy FMA as much as I did

The first one that I watched was Love Hina, I saw all of it and read the manga. When I watch anime I watch all of it and sometimes read the manga if it's possible.

First was a movie (Akira). After watching a dozen movies or so I tried series, and the first one was Noir (note mah name hehe).

Umm...wow, I guess I'd say it'd have to be Chrno Crusade last...year? 0_0 Wow, when I think about it, all the anime I watched before I got into around the middle of the season, and some had way too maby seasons (Pokemon, Digimon...all that childhood stuff )

I did, but I don't remember anything about it except it's opening music.
The anime I fully watched first was the Ghost in the Shell movie. It was on TV and a friend of mine suggested me not to miss it. He was right.

The first one was Evangelion, I watched DBZ almost entirely on Tv but it was like 2 episodes per week so it took a long time
