what music player on your computer can play the most diverse amount of file
formats.
Foobar2000 v0. 8. 3 special can play the most formats on mine...24 music
formats(not including secondary formats) and 6 playlist formats.
I don't really like winamp(sounds bad through my headphones/speakers) and jet
audio will take too long for me to download. Oh and foobar2000 supports 61
formats(sub formats included) out of box. Mine currently supports about
63...need to add more codecs and dll's.
Main player of mine is Winamp 5.1 [best
with me] it sound nice with my headphones/speakers.
it can play realmedia file, video file, image file, all media file in my PC can
play by it event .mov file.
windows media player 10- not good with my headphones - sometime i use.
Realone player 10.5 - medium, i not usualy use it.
Dvix 6 - use play AVI file.
jetAudio 6.02 - this fine but i just use to convert audio file from TV to my
PC.
Quicktime 7.02 - Player for .mov and .qt file.

hey hey today i just load newest vision of Winamp. Winamp 5.11
Good old Winamp 2.92, because it's simple and fast, hardly uses the CPU. And I
don't need any extra features like video playing etc. I install a music player
so I can play music dammit :p

I think winamp isn't the problem...I think it's with the speakers..^^ unless it
turns out to work fine when you use other programs then you could put all the
blame on winamp then..
[because winamp works really well for me]...
btw, to answer the thread question I use many kinds of media players...including
winamp as well..^^..different one for a different media...I mean..one for avis,
another for mpgs... dunno.. I think I sort of like trying to experiment with
them. [doesn't like to stick to one]
Winamp 5.1 for MP3s, FLAC, etc.
I use the CCCP with
Media Player Classic to play back video, I also have the quicktime alternative
and real alternitive codecs installed so I can play mov and rm files without
having to install either of those bloatware programs. So far I have not come
across any file that the CCCP couldn't play back, ffdshow kicks ass. :P
I use Winamp for Music.
CoreMediaPlayer & Media Player Classic for everything else.
If I can't play a certain music format I use dBpoweramp to make into MP3. I hate
lossless format that takes up loads of space and requires special
codecs/programs to play.

Most likely.... Windows Media Player, but mostly just because I tend to use it for everything.
*Too lazy to regularly use more than one music playing program*
I have windows media player, Real player for music, Div (whatever the name is) for AVI videos, and iTunes for my iPod.
