in my case its just more the look of the (mostly females ) Stars, because i dont know how they are in real life. so i can just make my own mind of a star with the way he looks like.

I guess people do becuase of looks or movies. The acting skills. But I admit I may not really 9impressed by alot of the hollywood stars since some act like jerks sometimes.

I don't see the big deal about celebs anyways and why people go ga-ga over them and such...Just take away their stardom and fame, and they're regular people like us...that's all they are, regular people. Sure we have different talents and such but no need to make them too well known throught the public and such...and I hate overrated people, so celebs won't cut it for me.

Then again to be honest, the only celeb I'm guilty of worshipping is Angelina Jolie...that's it.

Because they need to "occupy" their minds, and the best way seems to be with some infatuation with a person on a magazine cover. I don't know about "Love" either, but people who claim they "love" a celeb (I mean, really love - beyond fanatic) are the ones in jail or with restraining orders.

There are better looking girls on a hot summer day on a crowded campus, that's for sure.

I don't think people 'fall in love' with celebrities -- they either idolize them or think of them as the perfect partner who will be able to provide them with happiness in their life if they ever met.

I don't think 'falling in love' with a celebrity is bad, it's good to like many different people and things even if they are out of your reach because it shows you can be thoughtful and passionate, but if it becomes a dangerous obsession, then things are out of hand.

I'm gonna have to be different... and to tell you the truth I don't fall in love with these celebrities. To me I just don't see why... To focus on a fantasy and miss out on who is around me is simply not me. Thou I'm not saying anyone who does fall in love with them are like that. I may be physicaly atrrected to them but besides that I have other people I rather dream of first than these celebrities.

Because they don't have anyone else who they feel a closer attachment to. It's a very sad thing when your best mate is the television and your beloved is a character in a show.

Personally i think for status i mean most guys say they love pamela anderson, me personally i don't really see much their. beside her big boobs to really attract anyone. anyway it a useless point most normal people will probraly never get close to celebrity so theirs no point in obsessing. but if you love a celebrity and think you have a shot with him or her by all means GO FOR IT.

Personally i hate celebrites they think their above regular people you know the people that made them celebrities in the first place and probraly wouldn't give you the time of day.

I really don't care for celebrities(I meen I may talk about them every once in a while and I do have my favorites but I'm not like some people who spend every waking moment talking about them.)When it really comes down to it we only like them because they are rich. Come one people, there human they bleed like the rest of us and they get paid way to much money when what they do isn't worth paying them millions and millions. I most of them are pretty greedy jerks they spend there money on stupid crap and don't help people who really need it thats not there mostly the kind of people I'd rather not no nor admire(some of them help others but most don't the ones that do I have some respect for.)

Never cared for celebs, since I DESPISE 98% of them. And some of them are just plain "bleh"/fugly/overratted IMO. And I have very little to absolutely no respect for the entertainment industry.

(nothing personal, it's just that I hate it when people start bugging me about celeb this, movie that... tell that to somebody who gives a flying f-ck because I have no time to deal with that type of crap. Not now, not EVER, period. Really, these kind of things get on my nerves )

i have same opinion on other people, that i do not really care about what happens or who celebrities are. All i do care about though is if they come out with a decent movies. I do not really care about their social life or their opinions on certain topics. It's not like they are more qualified to have an opinion on issues(war, foreign policy, etc). I say that they are just like the average person that walks down the street, but they have a lot of money from just "acting".

Lol guys will gawk any girl who is hot and fit in their description as sexy... they dont need to be a celeb or idol.... they just have to be pretty and express themselves... in a skimpy way....
