about 8 free download quota
and you will gain 1 free credit in a day, so you won't run out of
credits.

Looking at this again, 30 does seem to be a bit too much. On average I download
maybe 5-10 things per day, and there are many days where I don't download
anything at all. Maybe dropping it down to about 15 would be better. But kudos
to the admins for implementing this system. It will help out members who don't
wall or have limited ways to contribute greatly.

members, but... isn't it a way to prevent them to be active on this community ?

The free quota does not carry over - it only gets recharged to 30 after 24 hours
if any of it was spent.
i still suggest a lowering of the numbers, it will encourage people to leech

I'm prohibited from downloading ANY walls... or ANY OTHER KIND of picture for
that matter.. I'm using a different MT skin, and the pictures for it won't even
load, nor am I able to see any other picture in the wallpaper gallery.. I think
that's a little bug though, cause not being able to even few the thumbnails is a
pain..
EDIT: In case you're wondering.. I only check Mt twice a week..

this problem where we don't have that many things we can use the credits
for.
but if we decreased it now, people are sure to complain. now that's another
problem. but when you think about it, the only people who complain are those who
aren't active enough on MT and lack credits aren't they? so it's their problem
and their fault really.

I think this idea is very nice even though I have enough credits to satisfy my wallpaper making needs
